My cat was fine this afternoon before I went to the store. When I returned about an hour later, I let him come outside. he was fine, trying to steal my food and growling at other neighborhood animals, etc. Previous to this little episode, he was eating and drinking okay. He does however look like he is losing weight and he does have a little flea problem.

Then I tried to put on his new flea collar and he ran away. A few minutes later, his hind legs were twitchy and he was wandering around aimlessly. He won't let me touch him and he is running and hiding from me. I don't think it is a reaction to the collar, but I won't rule it out. I don't have enough money to take him to a vet right now. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can I treat this at home somehow?

The commercials say what happens here stays here and I was just wondering.

I have been looking for a while and can't find a really good recipe. Thanks in advance...
