Had a fish only set up for over a year and introduced some live rock (approx 2kg cured) 3 weeks ago. Now the 1 inch deep bed of coral gravel in the base of my tank (no sand) is teeming with tiny critters running around on it! They're kind of see-through and they remind me of brine shrimp or 'sea-monkey' pets... (They're no bigger than 1-2 mm in length)
I know live rock brings macro and micro life, however I'm unsure whether I should have expected this level of invasion (all of the same type of critter - No joke... I'm talking THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF THEM!!!!!!
