What were some of the differences between the colonists' lives in the Virginia Colony and the Plymouth Plantation?

How do you think these differences influenced the colonists' thoughts and behaviors?

I am doing a small presentation on a short story "The Red Chief" and i need some ideas for a visual aid. No power point just something simple for a 10 minute presentation.... ANY IDEAS?

I need some differences in what each generation does differently now vs how things were done back then... Ex. the work they had to do as children vs what if any type of work children do now, and the effects on how it reflected their life growing up then vs now. I need some definitions of the word ARROGANCE...... I don't need the definition given in the dictionary. I want your own definition of that word so that i may have some supporting details to add to the paper!

What do you think about people getting funding for school and using false information to do so while those who work but can't afford schooling and want to better themselves get denied? Why do the goverment allow people to go to school and drop classes after so many hours of the class and still fund them for the class. Is it okay for people to be married and lie to the government about their marriage status just to get pell grant checks, and student loans? Should the government investigate into these situations more to detect things of such? And should these people be charged for giving fraudulent information?

Okay i have beem married to this wonderful man for over a year now and a part of his family for three years. I have four beautiful kids in which he loves and care for deeply. He has fathered one child before we met one another. the problem is that i have yet to gain a relationship with. They call us on certain holidays for family gatherings, but other than that i never hear from them. they keep his child every weekend and in order for him to keep her he has to go through them. I really don't want her to feel like he dosen't love her in the long run. He has taken the neccessary steps to do his part but as i said he always has to go through them. He has problems with confronting them because he just acts like it is direspectful to do so. I have said for 3 yrs now that i think he should let them know how he feels but it's not been done yet. So wht should i do, leave it alone or keep pushing. This is serious so plz be serious! and yes he pays child support just don't get much visitation..

lately i have been going through lots of changes in my life. I have been wanting to get closer to god but i'm unsure what steps i need to take to do so. the problem is that i really don't go to church just for the simple reason that people in church seem to do you more harm than good. They act one way in church but when you turn your back they always have something negative to say behind your back. It's hard to understand which direction shoul be taken to get close to the man or God when you always are faced with things such as this. I can say that i did start by reading a good book that i would advise anyone to read called "the Purpose Driven Life". It really helps you to find and understand yourself better. If anyone could give me a lil advice it would be greatly appreciated. Do i just study the bible at home and wait for God to guide me in the direction in which he wants me to go? or do i go to church and look past the negativity?

Yesterday hundreds and thousands of legal, illegal, and us citizens marched in order to prove their rights which most don,t have in our country. The continued to say that they were here to do the job the we the citizens of the United States would not do. They believe that they should be allowed to stay in order to perform these low paying jobs, and to fulfill the american dream. Their are people all across the world who have been waiting for Visas' and green cards and have yet to get them. Do you think it is fair for them to stay in this country while those who took the right procedures still await for approval or do you think they should be convicted of felonies for entering this country illegal. What do you think the message was to our people in congress and what do you think will be done, or perhaps should be done? Keep in mind these people are starting their own businesses and have taken the jobs that americans will do with a wage to compensate for their job.

Is it me or do you think it's wrong for immigrants to come to our country, open bussiness and take over all the jobs that the president say american citizens refuse to take. Dont you think if minimum wage was more than $5.15 an hour which is what it is in my state more people would want to do these jobs. 75% of my county is hispanics and a large percentage of them are illegal but yet they seem to come here settle down and before you know it they are building houses driving $40,000 cars and opening their businesses. What do you think about the new law. Why do citizens now have to be bilingual to get certain jobs, and why do immigrants get all the benefits offered by the goverment? Do you think it's becoming a problem where you are and what do you think should be done about it?

When is a man considered a dead beat dad? And why are men sometimes treated so harsh when they pay their child support but yet the judge dosen't order a visitation agreement. Do you think child support is more important than spending time with the child?

Women are known to be sexy when they are being intimate but men are said to be discusting? Is that true and if so why? What makes one better than the other?
