  • how much can I expect a dealership to budge on price of vehicle?

I'm looking at a Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and a few mini vans. I really want the Enclave, but it's more than I wanted to spend by about 5K. Is it ridiculous to try to bargain them down 4-5K? I'm looking at the 2008 and 2009 models. I'm worried they won't even take me seriously if I offer too little. Thanks in advance for any advice....I absolutely HATE buying a vehicle!! :)

  • 5 year old boy has pain in lower left side of abdomen?

should I take him to ER? He's crying and holding his legs to his chest...seems like what I would think of as a hernia, but nothing poking out....not sure if he's being dramatic and I should give it time, or just take him. He's acted this way a couple times before and was just constipated (that's not the issue this time).

  • I keep 'pulling' muscles and I don't know why..?

I've been doing step classes at the gym for almost 2 years and have never had any problems. Occasional soreness, but that's it. Last week I felt a pop in my right calf and then extreme soreness immediately after. I couldn't finish the class (could barely walk out of the gym). After a week (today) it's still sore, but much better. Today I tried the class again and now it's my other leg, too! Not near as bad because I eased up once it started bothering me, but still sore. I don't know what's going on since I've never had these problems with my muscles and these classes are not new or different. We do the same warm up each time and stretch afterwards. Am I just getting old? or maybe lacking in some vitamin? I'm at a loss as to what's going on. I eat well, but don't take any vitamins.

  • Can't buy songs without downloading itunes 8.0?

I have dial-up so everything takes forever, but I can't even buy a song without getting a message saying that I have to upgrade to a later version of itunes. It says it'll take about 18 hours and my computer usually will go offline on it's own by then. Any suggestions? I'm not extremely computer literate-obviously.

  • should i boil the chicken for a crock pot king ranch casserole?

The recipe calls for cooked chicken in the crock pot casserole, but do I boil it for this or just pan cook? I'm just using boneless, skinless tenderloins.

  • Can anyone give me simple instructions on how to fix my hair this way?

This page gives instructions, but I don't get it (at all). My hair is shoulder length and very thick. Is this possible? Is it just twisted up, pinned and curled at the ends? I have too much hair to do that (think I'd have to use 50 bobby pins), but again, I'm clueless so any help would be appreciated. http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip4467.htm

  • Would this dress look okay on a size 14? ?

I'm bigger in the belly after having children. I liked that it would hide my gut, but I didn't want to look like I was wearing a sack either. I workout constantly (it seems) so I'm not jiggly, just have become a bigger girl since the kids.

  • Can I eat whenever I'm hungry or do I have to stick to 3 meals 2 snacks?

I've started South Beach Diet and I'm hungry! I'm wondering if I can eat more than 2 snacks..I'm more a snacker than a sit down and eat a big meal person. Are you supposed to limit food intake or can you eat as much as you want as long as it's on the good food list?

  • Should I just take another progesterone tablet or wait until morning?

I forgot to take it the first night (3 nights ago) so I took it the next morning and have been taking it every morning since. Should I start taking it tonight (that would make 2 for the day) or just keep w/the schedule I've started and wait until the morning? By the way, I'm maybe a month pg and had m/c last feb so ob gave rx just in case (had minor spotting for the last few days). Everything going well so far...should get blood test results by tomorrow. Thanks for any advice!

  • How should I tell her?

I'd like to stay friends w/her, but don't want to babysitt for her anymore. Should I tell her why (kid has some issues w/lying, hitting, etc....needs more attention than I have to give w/2 of my own) or should I tell her I just can't anymore? Not sure how I'd react if someone told me something negative about my kids although I think I'd want to know, but also think I would know if I spent any time w/them...decisions, decisions...

  • Should I quit babysitting this child?

He lies to get my kids in trouble like saying they hit his sister when he did (I'd just watched the whole thing happen). He's constantly telling on them for any little thing (that's usually not even true) and I'm sure he just needs a lot more attention and obviously has other issues, but I'm not sure I'm capable of dealing w/this....especially when I have 2 of my own that I'm responsible for. Is this normal behavior from a 7 year old...mine are a bit younger so I'm just not sure. It's just so constant and frustrating and I don't know how best to handle it while looking out for my own children. Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • which type of house is easiest to move?

We are looking at several house plans and considering whether one or two stories is easier to move. It will be about 1800 sq ft so one level would obviously be wider whereas two stories would just be higher. We are looking at land just down the road so it wouldn't be a big move and it's a dirt road so I don't think that would be too difficult. Anyone know about moving a house? (We are building it on our land for now, but will build a bigger house in the next 10 years so we'd move it to a piece of property that we plan to buy in the near future)
