my yahoo homepage but my Trend Micro stops it. But, I still have to reset yahoo as my homepage... What can I do to stop this from happening anymore?

files (which has windows xp) will I be able to use my old files (on the portable HD) on my new laptop? When I look for the files all I see are the ones from vista not xp. Is there a patch I need for this to run right?

I would like to purchase a voice recognition software program but am confused there is Dragon Naturally-Speaking 10 Preferred Wireless, and Dragon Naturally-Speaking 10 Preferred Mobile, and Dragon Naturally-Speaking 10 Preferred, and Dragon Naturally-Speaking 10 Preferred Professional. What are the differences....which is the best bang for your buck...do have to have microsoft word in order to use these....is there another program out there that will do the same? Some of these are real pricey. I need a deal. hanks for any input..

My sister is in FL waiting for the hospital to call her saying they have a kidney/pancreas for her. She is only 46 yrs.old. Her ins. wont pay for any of the 3 months post opt.(about $25,000.00) and they will only pay for 80% of they $350,000.00 surgery. So I need to find out how to have a fund raiser for her....I need to know the legallities too. A bunch of people (family and friends) have wanted to send $$$ and so far we have been "sticking it under the matress", until we find out the legallities. Who do I ask?

have been out of college for some time now.

Can a list be one object (like when you have a grocery list start) or does it have to be more then one object?

I have a 5 year old granddaughter (who I am raising) and at times she can be a bit trying (typical 5 yr old). While visiting my sister she kept saying you need to do this with her or you dont need to buy her anything or she needs to see a therapist .

She also had my 22 yr old neice and her 21 yr old girlfiend saying stuff like that.

Well, I have raised three kids and they haven't raised any. I never ask for they advice they just keep on and on and on.

My granddaughter is VERY smart. She has an extremely extended vocabulary and she knows a lot of things.

I do believe she needs therapy for things she had experienced while in her mother/stepfathers care. out of her 5 yrs of life they only had her a total of four months ....but oh boy did they ruin her with in that time.

Sorry for they "eyeful" I guess I just needed to vent.

What makes people think they can do this????

I live in the North Boston area. I hired a contractor that said he could do the job in 6 days, well he started the job three weeks ago and has worked 5 days. He hasn't been here in two weeks now......I gave him 1/2 of the money to begin with then 4 days later he asked for $2000.00 more. Since he got that $$$ he hasn't been back. He isn't using composite like I insisted on, he is using vinyl. He wont answer my calls or return my messages. Please help.

Oh yeah, I am disabled and can't make it down the stairs w/o a railing.....guess what .....there isn't a railing. So I have to go down my back stairs and walk around the house to catch my rides to and from the doctors offices which by the time I get to the front of the house I am exhausted !

I am a brittle diabetic with a recovering broken ankle waiting on an O+ kidney donor to come along so I can get a transplant, so I get worn out real easy. Now this guy is causing me extreme stress causing blood sugar problems.

I was at the hospital yesterday and a nurse there was telling me how microwaveable popcorn can give you "popcorn lung". Something about when you open it the chemicals become airborne and get into your lungs and cause cancer.

What's Next???? Now popcorn is even bad for you.

As for me.................

My husband is a commercial fisherman.

While standing in a crowded bank, late afternoon, on a payday Friday, I was discussing what kind of seafood we had for sale to the clerk that was assisting me.

Upon exiting the bank I turned around and said, "Oh yeah, my husband has crabs, too!"

Seeing the shocked looks on everyones faces,

I stuttered out...
