I am setting up a home-office and i am reading IRS materials about home-office tax deductions. One of the requirements is that the home-office needs to be used exclusively for the business. I have set up a room with a computer for this purpose. The room will be used only for business. However, family will ocasionally use the computer to browse the internet or play online games. Do i still qualify for the deduction? (i will bring it up to my tax advisor but just want to get a quick preview answer so i know what to expect). Thanks

I have my entire library in my PC and ipod, but I am replacing my old pc with a new one. I need to download all my stuff from the ipod into this new PC, but it doesnt let me just drag my songs from the ipod windoe to the new library window. How can I do this? Thank you!!!

I have a PDF with many pages. I need to copy one page and paste it into an email, either as attachment or within the body of the email, it doesn't matter. I could delete pages and re-save the pdf, but need to do it 40 different times (each page goes to a different email address). I need a quick way to break out this pdf. Any suggestions??? I am starting a U.S. based business. However, I will have a Canadian partner. I will buy equipment in Canada to be delivered and used in Canada. Invoices for that equipment will be sent to the US and paid in The US. Am I exempt from Canadian GST/QST tax? if so, should I request to have invoices exclude it? or do I need to pay it and then get a refund from the Canadian IRS? Any guidance will be tremendously appreciated!!
