i now find myself unemployed for the first time in 20yrs and basically am going to get bugger all from the government.

p.s. how the hell do you live on £57 a week, with 2 kids an ex wife, a car, bills and oh food?

I am thinking of buying a house in the Eymoutier part of limousin, can anyone give me a rough idea on how long it would take to drive from the airport at limoges as this would be a weekend / holiday home and i dont want to spend more than an hour traveling from the airport.

Alternatively are there any other areas that i should be looking at in this region?

Great, Bono on world issues, footballers and other people answering questions, why cant Yahoo get people who run our local council, bank managers and the like so that we as ordinary people can ask them important questions that concern us, rather than, will the human race be around in 100 yrs, very topical but as i will be 138yrs old and the nhs will be a thing of the past is that something i really need to worry about ?

i have had the great pleasure of dealing with call centres over the past couple of days, all in another country, my amusement at dealing with people called Elvis and Mable was cut short when i realilised how rubbish they are.

firstly a rather rude Elivs from TalkTalk told me that he would sort out the fact that i no longer had the net at home, they have cut me off at BT so i could use TT, but good old TT have not sent me anything or could they tell me when i would get it, he would not say when and berated me for 'getting emotional' - little did he know that i had been on the phone for 2 hours trying to sort it out.

the second instance was with my bank, i could not transfur money from one of my accounts to my other, even though they are the same bank, i was told it was for security reasons !

why do we have to put up with dealing with someone who reads off a script and is totally usless at resloving any problems that arnt on the 'list' so to speak. just so the company can make more £

just got an xbox, it came with prey, after watching the video clip at the start of the game for what seemed like forever i started to play only to get stuck within 2 mins, how do you get out of the very first room you start off in (i have gone through a portal type thing, killed a couple of monsters and just for good measure a human thing, went into a room and was told my head hurt - after that i just wondered around bashing things with my wrench) and saying that i can be bothered to do that is it worth playing as it looks like a nightmare game.

perhaps i am too old for such games and should stick to space invaders, looking forward to being shown how to do something by a 13yr old !!

My G/F has booked flights through easy jet, on the booking she has shortened my name from stephen to steve,(my passport says stephen)i have been trying to get hold of easy jet to see if this will cause a problem and if so change it but its a premium rate line - 65p a min and i have been holding on of ages and got nowhere, online you can change the passengers but not the spelling and the cost is just under £100 !! so i do i keep plugging away or will i get away with it ?

i bought a caravan with my ex wife (before we split up) we paid half each, now we are no longer together my ex will not allow me access to the van as i will not lend her my jeep so that she can use it - reason being i lent her my jeep before and she did not look after it, returned it with no fuel, and the thought of her racing down the m25 with a 26ft caravan gives me nightmares -she has the keys to the lock up and caravan.

where do i stand legally, i dont want to take her to court or involve soliciters however i am not being held to ransome over something that is as much mine as hers.

my overdraft is getting out of control, i dont tend to spend much, my cash goes on bills and food.

but my over draft has gone up by £1500 since the begining of the year, does not matter what i do i just cant seem to bring it down, the bank, who i have been with for 20yrs would gladly lend me the cash to pay it off, however their rates arnt the best and i dont really want to get into the situation where i am paying them more money for years to come to pay for something that they readily gave me, beginning to think that banks engineer dept to make more money out of you,

i am currantly re decorating my house, it has old wooden beams everywhere, i am flattening out the plaster between the beams and then re painting, no matter how careful i am being i am getting plaster on the old beams and the odd paint splash, the beams are very old and have an open grain how can i get it off with out ruining the wood and keeping my sanity as its a total sh** job, (1 room down, 7 to go.........)

why is it that badly spelt, lame questions about odd s*xual practices attract 30 plus answers but good questions worth answering only get a few?

perhaps if you post a question and cant be bothered to chk for the best answer you should loose 5 or more points to every one who had the decencey to waste there time replying.

one of the people who was on the show was a complete Ar**, he really could do with a reality chk, i mean spending £100k a month (!) on clothes and stuff, £400 a week on dry cleaning alone, poor bloke had one person in love with him, that was himself. hell i would like to have a few quid but if it turns me into that sort of person i would rather stay as i am.

i have been cruising the site this morning after it was off line for an up grade and there not only seems to be a lack of questions but alot of them seem to be repeated.
