I know people make different amounts based on skill, experience, etc. But when I started working here, they asked what salary I wanted and they gave it to me. The thing was, I think that I hugely underestimated how much I SHOULD be making at this company, and I want to know if my salary compares to my co-workers. I don't want to straight out ask, but how can I tell if I am making as much as I should be?

Imdb has crappy quotes. I saw it tonight and LOVED it (so don't bother answering if you didn't love it or don't want to see it or whatever).

What were some of your favourites? (Other than the main quote that EVERYBODY knows...)

I have to go and sign papers for my husband's student loan, and the banks are open from 9:30 - 4 at best, and some from 10:00 - 4. Why is this??

I saw a question on here posed by someone who thought a 24 hour bank would be a good idea... I think that they should be open outside of normal business hours because customers in a bank are busy making money that goes into the bank while the bank is open. It's soooo frustrating!

If you have ever worked in a bank or know someone who does, please tell me why.

YES, I know that some banks are open later - and I wish one of them would be willing to lend my husband money for medical school, but they aren't - so please don't tell me that lots of banks are open later because that will make me much more frustrated than I am right now.

My hubby and I are having a night-before-we-leave-and-we're-stressed-out argument. Do you bring towels on a cruise ship? I think it's like a hotel and they supply them. He does not. Who's right?

Any ideas where we can safely store our baggage for a few hours? We are willing to pay for it...

It always wilts or gets slimy within hours of bringing it home! I have tried different methods of keeping it - putting it in the crisper, bagged and unbagged, paper bags, out in the open, hanging it up, putting it in water, but it just doesn't seem to survive!!
