I am trying to translate something for my sister but I have very little Spanish skill. Is this like "hablar"? Maybe another dialect?
2 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoWhere can I download Norah Jones' song, "Love Me Tender" by itself?
iTunes will only offer that track as part of a $9.99 download of the entire album. I need this track for a slide show I'm making for my son's first birthday.
5 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoMiddle name for baby Hazel?
Although my husband and I don't yet know the gender of our baby, we've chosen our boy's name (Bennett Matthew) and are now trying to choose our potential girl's name. We love the name Hazel but are struggling to choose a middle name. It seems that everything we like leads to too many "Ls".
Please suggest simple, feminine, traditional names. I'm not a fan of the more "unique" names out there today.
30 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoI need help finding the name of an old computer game!?
I used to play a computer game on my old DerbyTec computer. There was a cat and mouse and a piece of cheese, and the goal was to trap the cat and eat the cheese. Does anyone remember this game and its name? Thanks for your help!
1 AnswerOther - Games & Recreation1 decade agoShould I quit my job?
After my performance review, it was decided that I should get a promotion so that my title more accurately reflects my job. Unfortunately, my company refuses to give me a raise to go with the added responsibility. My boss suggested that, if they wont give me more money, I should quit.
I don't love this job and it pays badly, but it is close to home, I'm good at it, and the benefits are outstanding. (Free tuition for my children to one of 14 colleges??) I don't have any othe job leads, and without my Master's degree, I'm limited somewhat (professionally).

14 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoDo you have any reoccurring dreams? If so, what? What do you think they mean?
I always dream that my teeth are falling out, or really loose, or I'm pulling them out. It sounds funny, but it's a really traumatizing thing when it's happening. Apparantely that's not an uncommon dream, though...

14 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoHow should I word this???
I do graphics design work as a hobby, and I am currently making some advertising posters for a friend of mine, who is an up and coming musician. He is leaving soon to attend Boston University to get a master's degree in opera. A very famous opera singer is putting on a benefit concert, and the proceeds go to pay for my friend's tutition, because he applied too late to receive a scholarship or funding.
How do I tell people that the admission costs are going to pay for my friend to go back to school?

8 AnswersOther - Education2 decades agoWhat is your favorite tradition that you share with your family?
In my family, we had a lot of traditions when I was very young. Now that my sisters and I are grown and married (some with children), many of our traditions have been lost.
My favorite that we still do, however, is that we always pass around the same strange and irritatin gifts each year from person to person. One is a set of ringing Christmas bell decorations, and another is ths "chirping bird". Both make such hideous sounds that we just had to make them a part of our annual celebration.
What do you do in your family?
