  • Would you give up W. Welker for T. Gonzalez?

I'm currently playing fantasy football for the first time. A friend of mine wants me to trade my W. Welker for his Tony Gonzalez, who I think is the number 1 tight-end in fantasy football as of week 7. I do have another reciever A.J. Green, whom I will certainly not trade and my current TE is Fred Davis. Is this a fair trade?

  • This happens often in fantasy football, WHY?

To all you Fantasy Football players: In Nfl, coaches tend to put their starters in the game and let them play for most of the game. A player can have a big game and a lot of points in fantasy football that same week. While the next week or game, only play him for a few minutes and/or a couple of plays? Sometimes not even start, even without any injuries. This usually happens with most wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends. This makes it harder to select who you should start and bench in your fantasy football league. Any tips?

  • Why do some people think so negatively?

This person ask me if they should cut their hair short or leave it long. I tell her, I think your hair looks good long and that she should leave it long. Then she says, "so what are you saying, I don't look good if I cut it short?" If I said to cut it short, she would of said, "so i dont look good long?" It's as if there is no right answer. What do you think? What should I've said?

  • Why does the Spurs have a better record than Lakers? (2012)?

I just don't understand...why does the Spurs have a better record than Lakers? Lakers have the advantage as far as stats, such as P. Gasol avg. 16.8ppg, Bynum avg. 18.3ppg, Sessions avg 14.3 ppg and of course Bryant top scorer in the league at 28.3ppg. Spurs have four good players as well such as Parker, Ginobili, Jackson, and Duncan...but non of them avg more than 20 ppg. So why do you think they have a better record? Better defense? Coaching? What do you think and why?

  • Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez? 11-12-2011?

This Saturday is a big fight for both, who do you think is going to win and why? Manny has the edge over speed but I think that starts to go down hill over time. Key notes: May 8, 2004 was their first encounter and it was a draw. March 15, 2008, Pacquiao beats Marquez.

  • Do you think it's odd to go to a friend of a friend's wedding?

Here is how it goes: I'm a friend of a single mom and her girlfriend is getting married. Me and "the single mom" are just friends...nothing more than just friends. I meet her girlfriend (that's getting married) a couple of times but don't really know her that well. Her wedding is soon, should I go with my friend to her friend's wedding or is that a little strange?

  • Can I file for First Time Home Buyer tax credit now or later?

I recently bought a condo back in November '09. I closed escrow in early November '09 but my first mortgage payment wasn't until January 1, 2010. Can I file for the first time home buyer tax credit on my 2009 taxes or do I have to wait till next year and file it on my 2010 taxes because of my first mortgage payment (Jan. 1, 2010)?

  • Is $800 too much for a complete brake job?

I went to a Firestone in a busy metropolitan area and they wanted $800 (tax included) to remove and replace my front rotors and brake pads, rear drums and shoes, flush the brake fluid lines and change my oil and filter on a '99 camry. Is $800 too much or reasonable in big cities? Of course I said "I'll think about it and left"

  • Would it be a good idea to put a concrete sealer on the concrete slab before putting on the hardwood flooring?

My condo is on the bottom floor. I'm changing the carpet into hardwood flooring. I have a concrete slab under the carpet. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put some type of concrete sealer before putting on the engineered hardwood flooring and underlayment? Or is the underlayment enough to stop the moisture?

  • Has anyone invented an automatic voice translator?

Wouldn't that be neat if there was some type of Portable Automatic Voice to Voice Translator! Or did someone already invented it? Example of what I'm talking about: Let's say someone speaks english and wants to translate his or her words into a different language such as japanese. Instead of looking for the words in book or computer, all he/she needs to do is say the word or sentence into a microphone and it automatically translates his/her words in to the Japanese or Korean or Spanish or any other language he/she chooses. Wouldn't that be cool!

  • Why does it take soo long for to complete short sale on a condo?

I found a condo and put an offer through. This was a short sale. The bank selling the condo accepted my offer. So far I've been waiting for a month now... and no word from the bank other than they have accepted my offer. So why does it take so long to complete the transaction? And if the bank has already accepted my offer can they accept other offers?

  • Why are border patrol officers A--holes?

Hi, I'm part white, part asian. I cross the US border about every week for business from Mexico. It seems like every time I cross the border, I bump into a border patrol officer that has a very bad attitude. It's usually a male. He looks at me as if I did something illegal, even after I greet him with a simple hello dressed in my business suit. His face usually looks like a raging bull. It's like he has no life and wakes up every morning on the wrong side of his bed! This happens almost 95% of time I cross the border. For those you who crosses the US border often, does this happen to you? Why do most border patrol officers' have such negative attitude?

  • Where can you get a 30 year fixed rate with only 10 percent down?

With the economy the way it is now, what bank or other finance company will loan you $150,000 with a 30 year fixed rate, with only 10 percent down payment. Excluding FHA or VA loans. I'm looking for a condo in CA. Are there any banks that are accepting 10 percent down these days?

  • Can you hook up a washer and dryer to your condo?

Lets say you buy a condo in california, but it doesn't come with a washer and dryer or even the hook-ups for it. After you buy the condo, can you automatically install it by yourself, including the hook-ups without letting the property owner know about it? Or is there a guideline that you need to follow? I want to buy a condo but a lot of the condos don't come with the hook-ups for the washer and dryer. This goes true with most older condos. Thanks.

  • What do you think about Circuit City closing?

Circuit City is one of the biggest electronic stores out there (in North America) and now that they are about to be extinct! That really hurts us, the consumers. With less competition means Best Buy, Fry's, and other electronic stores will raise prices. I didn't care if the workers there were bad or the place was dirty or unorganized, when it comes to electronics, I would rather focus on the product I buy and the cost rather than anything else. With today’s troubled economy, we need all the help that we can get into keeping the prices down. What do you think?

  • If i co-signed for someone to buy a house, and he is late on payments, what will happen to my property?

My wife and I co-signed for my brother in law to buy a house. This happened about 6 months ago. During the last two months he hasn't paid for his mortgage. I own a couple of properties. If my brother in-law doesn't pay next month, the current lender will consider a foreclosure on the house. Since my wife and I co-signed, can the bank also take my properties or will my brother in-law just lose his house or will the three of us have bad credit for 7 years? What most likely will happen?

  • Does your credit report score go down each time a bank/lender checks your credit report?

I'm trying to buy a house. My current mortgage broker found me a bank that will loan me the money. I check the underwritten statement and the interest rate is 6.5%... I have excellent credit. I think that I can get a lower rate than that. On top of that, not have to pay for all of these extra fees such as closing cost, service charge, underwritten summery, MIP, ETC. So if I check with another bank will that hurt my credit score? And is 6.5%, a little too high for interest rates these days?
