My son keeps telling me it doesn't and I say it must somewhere. I am really getting tired of all these charges on my credit card. If you have any other suggestions on ways to not let it download when there is a charge or a way to get my credit card out of there I'd appreciate it.

My mom needs to re-do her bathroom floor. She bought the self sticking tiles but when she pulled up the carpet the old lineoleum is not flat, it has ridges etc. to look like real stone flooring. She is going to try an etching compound to see if that will take it away. I was just wondering if you put the sticky tiles down on top will you be able to tell the floor wasn't smooth?

At the dealership one person said to fill up with E85 any time ie: you can mix E85 and unleaded. Another person told us if we have unleaded in our tank to wait till it was below 1/4 tank before putting in E85. What were you told or what do you do? Also do you notice any loss of power/mileage with E85? How does E85 start up during cold weather? I am in Minnesota. Any other tips or input you have would be appreciated as I am a new E85 owner. We have qwest internet which is connected thru an ethernet cord. The laptop does not have an ethernet connection. I have asked at Best Buy and Office Max about an adaptor for usb to ethernet and they have never heard of one. It doesn't have a wireless card and I can not install the wireless usb I have untill I update Windows 2000 service pack. I can not update Windows 2000 till I can get on the internet. I tried to download the update to a cd, but it can't verify the windows version so I can't update it that way either. The computer says to go to the Windows 2000 service pack 4 web page and click on downloading without an internet connection. I can't find that anywhere on microsoft.com. Looking for ANY ideas on how to get Windows updated so I can hook up my wireless usb. TIA for your help :-)

I put $15,000 in to a 5.2% 12 month CD on March 26. My March 31st statement showed an interest earned of $12.82. What will my interest earned be for April? How do they calculate this?

I see some Irish Gang show was on last night. Are they taking it off the air or just switching nights? Does anyone know what night it is switched to? Or are they using this night to get the Irish show going and then they are going to switch that to a differnt night? HELP! I miss my Studio 60 :(

My mom and my Aunt take their grandsons on an overnight trip every year. They are 14 and 16. We are having a hard time coming up with a place to go with in a couple hours drive from St. Paul, MN. Any idea's would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have an external modem from qwest it is a Actiontec1524 Gateway wireless ready modem. I've found out that I can buy a card to put in the modem for $50.00 and configure it for wireless.

However, searching on the internet I see things cheaper, but I don't know what I need. Any suggestions on what to buy and how to hook it up are appreciated.

Anyone else having problems with most channels saying that they will "be available shortly"? We have been waiting since last night for the channels to be available.

I saw a piece on the news that said because Comcast bought out Time Warner that people were having problems. Comcast did not acknowledge any problems.

I called this morning and they said they would send a signal to clear up the problem. They said if that did not work to unplug everything for 10-15 min. I have done both and nothing helps.

So.... Have you guys found anything that works?

We had conferences last night for my 8th grader. There was a lot of missing work for two classes. When I got home I went thru a folder of stuff that we had gotten back from the teacher that had been graded. I found two things for one class. So today I emailed the teacher and asked how I could have the graded copy, yet the school records show the work is missing.

She did not apologize, but just said she was glad we had kept the returned work and he needed to re-submitt it for the grade to reflect on school records.

I don't think this is fair. If I would not have had the graded paper, my son would have had to re-do the work to get credit. Does anyone else have this problem? I guess I will have to start keeping everything until the quarter is done and I know he got credit for the work.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to handle this situation.

People have always said I am fast at entering. I just took an on-line test and my averager was 18,500. Is that considered fast or normal?

I am considering a Charter school for my son instead of High school. I have a meeting tonight to see what it is all about. Can anyone who has been to Charter school or sent their children there provide me with any information? I am wondering what is so different between the two. My son has ADHD and is doing OK in public school. He has a hard time turning in work if he is not asked for it and does better in small groups. Thanks for the information!

She never had children. She is always complaining that she has to pay property taxes for schools and never buys anything when she does look at the books. However, I have shown it to the two other girls in the office and I don't want to hurt her feelings if I don't show it to her. What do you guys think? Would you show it to her or not?

I work in a small office and we all keep our personal cell phones on all day and answer them when we get a call. I am just wondering what the rest of the world is doing now that cell phones are so popular.
