Attention all movie buffs: I'm having some difficulty finding the title of a movie...?
I've been attempting to discover the title of a movie of which I have very little information about:
1 - It is a fantasy movie, most likely marketed for kids/young adults.
2 - It MIGHT have had the words 'Black' and/or 'Knight' in its title.
3 - It had a character, a little boy, by the name of Crispin (or Krispin, or perhaps even Christian)
I realize that info is quite vague but, at present, it's all I've got.
Thanks, in advance, to all those who choose to assist me with this query.

2 AnswersMovies8 years agoWelcome to CLICHÉ THEATRE: The phrase...?
"... but the book is better than the movie."
It seems to me that most people have a tendency to judge the quality of a movie they have seen against the quality of its literary counterpart (most often, a book), - and the conclusion of the judgment is almost always the same: "... but the book is better than the movie."
My questions:
Do you find this comparison of two, markedly different story-telling mediums in any way constructive as a method of critique?
If you do not find it constructive, would you be in favor of bashing someone over the head with a hard-cover copy of their 'better' book for continuing to perpetuate such bromide?

20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould you ever really want to see an angel?...?
-
Most of the time I see angels portrayed as these ever-watchful and benevolent beings but...
... did you ever notice how in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel?
Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like;
a whole existence spent praising your God, - but always with one wing dipped in blood?
So I ask you again:
Would you ever really want to see an angel?

[---excerpt from USA Today]
A full 66 percent said they believed in creationism, with 39 percent of those polled saying it was definitely true and 27 percent believing it was probably true.
But 53 percent said they believed in evolution, the scientific theory that humans developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life. Eighteen percent said evolution was definitely true, while 35 percent said it was probably true.
The results were released in a USA Today/Gallup poll of 1,007 adults, taken between June 1-3. The margin of error was three percent.

12 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWho wants to "report" Bono?!...?
The "Celebrity Y!A Question" posted by Bono has been resloved, and the "Best Answer" was chosen by the "ONE: The campaign to make poverty history".
Out of nearly 30,000 answers, the individual who received "Best Answer" is someone who has, to date, only answered one question on Y!A. I think the "Best Answer" was a plant by Bono and/or the One campaign.
Should we "report" Bono under the suspicion that his post was answered by a "ringer"?...
I've never reported anyone, as it goes against my philosophical grain. But you've got to admit that flooding the Y!A team with reports against Bono would be, at the very LEAST, a brief but somewhat entertaining diversion...

..."...keep up with the Joneses."...
Do you, or does anyone you know, try to do do this?
If not, is it because your are a member of the "Jones" family?
And if you ARE a "Jones", do you think other "non-Joneses" are trying to keep up with you?...
..and...
Is the phrase a statement of passive envy, or is it just another head-rattling cliche?...
Your thoughts?...
