  • Doesn't the Libya fiasco anger you libs?

How can you close your eyes to this and still support Obama? Please explain your continued belief in his competence to me (and particularly to the families of the four dead Americans).

  • Mr. Yahoo, why was my answer deleted?

There was a question posted today asking if Dan Quaye was the most idiotic presidential candidate. I answered pointing out that Quayle was not a Presidential candidate but was VP candidate with Bush. How is that offensive or against a guideline?

  • Aren't US embassies and consulates considered a part of our country?

If so, doesn't the rocket attack in Libya constitute an attack on the US itself and the murder of a US diplomat inside the US?

If that is so, CNN just reported that the US is responding to this attack and murder by:

1 - Sending 50 additional marines to guard our embassy.

2 - Deploying drones for RECONNAISSANCE PURPOSES ONLY and to turn the results of that reconnaissance over to Libya.

Just what had to be expected from the empty chair. The whole world knows the US will not protect itself or retaliate for attacks.

  • St. Louis Cardinals problem?

I lived in STL until 7 years ago. Now I am in Ohio so have to follow the Reds and Indians. But I can't really keep up with the Redbirds as much as I would like here.

So who in STL can tell me what's wrong with the Birds ever since they swept the Reds? I have my own ideas but would prefer seeing what others closer to STL and with a better insight have to say.

Then I will chime in with my two cents worth.

  • "All Inclusive" vacations?

My wife and I have done a fair bit of traveling but have never been to the Caribbean. So we are considering one now.

But what does "all inclusive" really include? What not?

Any help on this would be appreciated so we have some idea what to expect if we do take a trip like that.

    Thanks.

  • Shouldn't we be boycotting BP?

Forget AZ. Why aren't we boycotting BP?

Not that the AZ situation isn't serious, but it seems to me that the oil spill and the information coming out about BP's criminal negligence has the potential to do grievous harm to the environment and our economy.

Apparently the only way that group will even care about their conduct and its consequences is by hitting them in the pocketbook. So everyone needs to boycott BP and the other entities responsible for that rig and the spill.

The problem is that BP markets under so many different names and uses so many differing channels to get its product to market that it is practically impossible to determine when you are purchasing from BP or from someone that is funneling the profits back to BP.

So Im asking for YA contributors to list the various names BP uses and the other outlets we may be using and unwittingly contributing to the economic well being of these criminals.

  • Are there any St. Louis Rams fans here?

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeders heading into

    St. Louis.

For the first offense, they give you two Rams tickets.

If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

    Q. What do you call 47 millionaires around a TV watching the Super Bowl?

    A. The St. Louis Rams

    Q. What do the St. Louis Rams and Billy Graham have in common?

    A. They both can make 70,000 people stand up and yell 'Jesus Christ'.

    Q. How do you keep a St. Louis Ram out of your yard?

    A. Put up a goal post.

    Q. Where do you go in St. Louis in case of a tornado?

    A. To Edward Jones Dome, they never get a touchdown there.

    Q. What's the difference between the St. Louis Rams and a dollar bill?

    A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

    Q. What do the Rams and opossums have in common?

    A. They both play dead at home, and they get killed on the road.

  • What Did You Think of the Palin Speech?

I'm sure this has been asked many times on the board today. But....

Please tell us what you thought of the speech. Indicate:

1 - Did you hear/watch it or just hear about it afterward?

2 - Were you, before the speech:

a - Definitely going to vote for McCain

    b - Leaning toward McCain

c - Actually still totally undecided

    d - Leaning toward Obama

e - Definitely going to vote for Obama

And finally, did her speech make any difference in how you will or may vote?

Please, no flaming. Just wonder how she went over.

  • Recommendation for moderate hotel in Nassau Bahamas?

Live in Columbus OH. New airline here sells tickets in inventive pricing arrangement. First 10 seats on plane go for $10 each way (thus $40 RT for 2 plus fees).

Just announced new non-stop route to Nassau. Not sure of date yet but tickets to go on sale soon. When they do, I want to grab tickets for GF and me for quick getaway.

Want moderate price, on the beach (will pay up a bit more for beachfront room) and restaurant/bar on site.

Also, what is the beach protocol? Any topless? What are best beaches?

    Thanks

  • What is with Italy, Germany and France???

I like to watch the Yahoo Favorites site and check out these countries' favorite stories and pictures.

Italy almost always has about half of the photos being sexy semi-nudy babes. Germany's favorites are almost always cartoons. And France is just find of bland.

What does this say abouit these countries???
