I need help selecting an electric motor. The web is full of them, but very little help on choosing one. I have a box that is approximately 3'x3'x3'. On top sits a tennis ball machine. The machine rotates left and right, I am looking to modify it so it also rotates up and down. I will run a solid shaft down through box and connect to motor shaft with some type of universal joints. The rpm will need to be about 60, and enough power to lift 30 lbs. It also needs to run off household current 120v.

I need the sum of A1 and B1, then A1 through C1, then A1 through D1, etc, etc. And want these values to appear in B2, C2, D2, etc, etc.

I have a (non-data) phone plan and older style (non-smart) phone with Verizon. Can I buy a iphone 4, say from ebay, and use it with my regular phone plan (non-data plan) and be able to use the wifi? I was told no from a Verizon rep, but I'm thinking he said that so I would buy a data plan from them.

I recently went into my flash drive and updated names and artists of over 1000 songs, as some of them were wrong or missing. I also grouped all songs by artist only instead of artist and albums. I then re-copied those songs to iTunes after deleting them. However the names and artists that were on iTunes prior to deleting reappeared exactly as they were, despite them being updated on the flash drive. Any ideas on how to get the edited songs to appear in iTunes as they now are on the flash drive?

Obviously I can edit the songs on iTunes the same way I did on the flash drive, although I am trying to avoid that.

I would like recommendations on a book or two and a website or two that I can use to research laws, legal rights, etc. It needs to be for a layperson. I basically would like to learn about laws that affect people on a regular or semi regular basis and how to represent or protect myself, and learn how and where to do research.

AT&T recently dropped off some phone books on my front porch, as they seem to do twice a year now. So I called AT&T to simply ask to be removed from their drop off list. They will kindly do this, however they need a full name and phone number, as well as an address in order to create an account. Once an account is established they will stop delivering. My response to that was you deliver to an address, and not a name or phone number. I don’t want to create an account, I should not have to create an account. I realize I could simply throw the stupid things in the trash, but it’s the principal of the thing. Your neighbor could not do this and get away with it, why should AT&T. They also refuse to come remove them from my front porch.

My question is: Can I write a cease and desist letter outlining my request and then be able to enforce it if they return to my front porch in the future? And where can I obtain information on how to properly write, send, and document this letter?

Also, wouldn’t there be some type of littering law, or improper dumping, ect., that I could also use against them?

I’m not looking to sue, just to stop receiving garbage on my front porch and as best I can protect my identity, in addition to future advertisements from AT&T.

Would like some recommendations on books covering American history. I want to read about the important stuff, like Columbus, Lincoln, Civil War, Prohibition, Gangs, slavery, the constitution, etc. Basically all the important stuff that founded the country we live in now.

Anyone have experience using Excel to make a line stock chart? Recommend a site that teaches you how to do it? And how well of a chart does Excel produce?

Some of my cloths may have become contaminated with some unwanted creepy crawlers. Can I use a 10% bleech solution and soak the cloths in that for 10-15 min without fading or getting bleach stains on cloths?

Instead of wearing braces for 3 years at the age of 35 I am considering frontal implants for front two teeth. Current teeth will have to be extracted. Anyone have experience with this? Looks, strength, cost? As well as Central California dentist recommendation.

I am 6'4" and have rode mountain bikes all my life. I want to get into BMX racing, just a once in a while thing for fun. But when I get on a BMX bike (24") I feel like I am riding a tri-cycle. So I want to build a cruiser useing a 21" hard tail mountain bike frame. My question is will this work for racing on a BMX track? Will there be any issues using or building this frame? Thanks!!!

Anybody know of a earbud style headphone with headband for running or cycling? I want earbud style for wind reduction and headband to keep them from coming out.

It used to be great, untill I installed a newer version of McAfee. Now it is slow and stalls a lot. Would more memory work? I have 192 MB of RAM now. Can I do this myself? Or would a higher processor be better? I have a AMD 2800. What does that cost and can I do it myself?
