It means outside.

I work with a group on campus that hosts weekly discussions on things you probably wouldn't talk about at the dinner table. We talk about humanitarianism, human rights, the election, religion, economics, race issues- we're all over the board. The only problem we've run into is we seem to be out of ideas. :(

So, what are some conversations that you've had that have gotten heated?

I know most presidents have usually had busy schedules and back to back meetings, but say a special interest group asked them to make an appearance. Could they make time, and would they be paid for it or is that their duty as president? Can they get paid for it personally or would it have to go to some other account?

I usually pay 15-20percent as regular, more if it was exceptional. I just found out from bitterwaitress that 20% is the expected rate? When exactly did servers' expectation go to 20% as the expected tipping rate?

A car company had a recall and my boss had to leave his car in the shop, and they sent him with a porter to take him and a woman with the same problem to their jobs. Should he have tipped the porter? If so how much?

My USB ports recognize that something has been inserted into them, they just can not identify anything. These include USB memory sticks, cameras and the like. Is there possibly a certain area I should look into?

My brother wants to visit me and see the city I now live in. We're from California and I came here for college while he went into the military. He's taking a little bit of a break before continuing for an extended four year stay in the army and wanted to hang out around here. Unfortunately I have been in the hedges a lot and dont know of too many interesting places to check out. What are some must-sees? Where would be some interesting places to go? We're both 21 and money is of no object, so where do you recommend?

America spends some of the highest amount of dollars per student yet we aren't near the standards of other developed countries that invest less. In terms of education we have some of the lower end of scores in priomary and secondary schools, yet somehow have some of the highest testing and facilities at the university levels. What can we do to help public schools? Is it the money? Zoning? Vouchers? Teacher's Unions? Maybe something else?

Same first name that is... I'm sure it's more likely in the GLBT community, and I mainly ask cause I just saw two guys making out who just happen to have the same name. Just seems a little funny if you were one of the people and it'd sound like you were refering to yourself in the 3rd person... Your thoughts?

I'm trying to send care pacakges to soldiers in the area and I thought it'd be great to get my college and local businesses involved with sending stuff so I was wondering where I could find the names of the units. I've tried anysoldier.com, I've gone through over 500 posts but still can't find any units within 90 miles. I want a closer unit so that the businesses will feel more of a reason to donate items to send the soldiers... (I'm in Houston, TX and I did find one Airforce group with 4 ppl but I'm looking for more units and more people). Any points or hints in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Say I wanted a collage of images rather than just one. I know the html codes for the background and colors and positionings (but only for one image...), I just want to know how they'd work for more than one picture, and how to put them in two different locations.
