Where can I get the names of military units close to me?

I'm trying to send care pacakges to soldiers in the area and I thought it'd be great to get my college and local businesses involved with sending stuff so I was wondering where I could find the names of the units. I've tried anysoldier.com, I've gone through over 500 posts but still can't find any units within 90 miles. I want a closer unit so that the businesses will feel more of a reason to donate items to send the soldiers... (I'm in Houston, TX and I did find one Airforce group with 4 ppl but I'm looking for more units and more people). Any points or hints in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Contact a local veterans organization. They will be able to help you.

Fort Hood is obvious but there may be deployed National Guard or Reserve units closer to you.
