I don't really know what that means; I want to use it in a college essay because I think it sounds clever but I'm worried that I might end up slipping it into the wrong place. Any advice would be much appreciated :-) (P.S. also, are you allowed to use emoticons on YA?)

I want to install a 500gb to 1tb hard drive on my old desktop which runs on XP. The guy in the shop said he didn't think that the OS would 'see' more than about 300gb. That sounds like rubbish to me -what do you think?

My dreams aren't usually prophetic (except the one about Jordan's boobies getting bigger, but I think that was just coincidence). Last night I had 2 distinctly separate dreams in which I was part of a group bringing about the end of the world, and in then in the second one I was just waiting for the world to end at a certain time while being told there was nothing I could do about it.

What could these dreams mean?

I should also mention that I was very disappointed not to wake up with super powers of some sort.

I look in the papers, on internet job search sites and the JobCentre. I've tried recruitment agencies. Is there anything else that I'm missing?

A piece of door trim started falling off my 03 Ford Fiesta the other day. I can now see that it was glued on.

At night when it's been raining I often tread on snails on the garden path. I don't mean to; I just can't see them in the dark.

Lately I've become increasingly worried that God is judging me as a murderer because I haven't done anything to stop these snails dying.

I think that when I tread on them I don't actually crush the snail because I pull out when I feel the shell break. This makes it worse because it's like I've left the snail to die slowly.

Is there some kind of snail first aid or emergency surgery that I could safely carry out to improve the snail's chances of survival?

With global warming such a big issue, all the water is bound to evaporate soon. Once it's gone I think I'll drink apple juice or vimto. what about you?

I have been on a diet for a year now and have lost about 2 stone and now have a BMI score of about 24. If I continue with the diet will I eventually waste away, or will my body find a natural balance with the diet I am on? Will I have to change my eating habits to stop myself wasting away, and risk putting weight back on, or as long as my diet seems reasonably balanced will the weightloss stop eventually stop?

Sometimes I go back to my answers and vote for the ones that are "in voting". It seems a little odd that each time I vote for my own answer I get a point. It's like getting an extra pat on the back for liking your own answers.

And by "sometimes", I mean always, systematically, like I have OCD. I just can't help myself.

I'm watching a program at the moment that pegs her as very annoying. Since she seemed to "turn American" she has become a figure of ridicule in the UK. Does her new American style endear her to Americans? Do you guys even know/care who she is?

Things escalated between me and my flatmate tonight, and I ended up dropping a sack of potatoes on him after I tripped him up in the drawing room. He had to go to hospital. At first I thought it was his fault for being a ginger dwarf, but then I realised that his hair is strawberry blonde, and at 5ft he is technically not a dwarf. I want to get along with him, after all we live together (not like that), and he has a fit sister that I think I will be in with as long as I keep pretending to be his friend. How can I make up with him? Don't bother suggesting anything expensive, she's not worth it.
