  • What's the big deal about drafting women?

Why are the females so upset about the possibility that they may get drafted ? Men have had to live with this for years. They are always wanting to be treated equal, aren't they ? They enjoy living in our nation, don't they? Shouldn't they also do their duty ?

  • Only the Marines ?

As a Marine Corps Vet, I enjoy the brotherhood with all other Marines. Even I don't care for a person when I meet them, if I learn that they have served in the Corps, I have a new respect for them. We all share a special bond for life. A brotherhood. "Once a Marine, always a Marine." My question is, why the other branches of service do not have this ? It seems as though when they get out of the service, they no longer have any pride in their service and don't acknowledge their brothers and sisters in arms.

  • Racism or nationalism?

Why do most people seem to use the term "racism" in relation to the Mexican/US border issue ? It's two nations, isn't it? Is there a mexican race? Doesn't Mexico have Anglos,Indians,Spanish,Africans and others just as the US has? No one says there is an American race. Both nations residents come from other continents at one time or another, including the Indians. Isn't a matter of people migrating to another country illegally en mass ?
