I like talking with people and sharing all that my life has taught me.I've found that happiness in this life is a state of mind, not an emotion.

  • Is it a grandparent thing....or what?!?

Recently my mother moved in with me, shortly thereafter my 15 year old niece has also moved in. She is a troubled child and due to some issues, my mom thought it best that she stay here.l have nothing to do with her mother (my youngest sister) because she cannot be trusted and lies like a rug. She was never allowed in my house without supervision until now. Only because her daughter is here. There are several nieces mooching off of my parents and I don't like it.They lie, cheat, steal, and manipulate everyone around them for personal gains. I was trying to fix the situation, until I realized that my parents put up with them ad if they believe the lies they are told. They were extremely strict on me and my siblings and I don"t understand why they are allowing the grand kids to do whatever, tell them whatever With no questions asked. We could never have done that. We were questioned, interrogated about every move we made. Why are they putting up with this crap. It's driving me crazy!!!! The grand kids seem to receive no punishment for bad behavior. In fact they seem to get rewarded. Can anyone offer any reasons why? Or how to deal with it. I worry because they are getting older and I am concerned about how they are living their fall and winter years. HELP!!!!

  • i have been in a relationship for almost ten years. We have a five and a half year old daughter and a new baby?

too. I have grown to love this man and i think he loves me too,but lately I get the feeling that he is involved with someone else or is contemplating it. He loves to talk and in doing so often tells me things he probably should'nt. This is how I know he is a little too friendly with some people. He feels like he hasn't "been around" enough and that perhaps he is missing out on something. All of his friends are single womanizers who like to sleep around......alot!! I think he wants to be like them, but doesn't want to lose what we have built together either.I never want to be the person to keep anyone from doing what they want. I think that if I am not enough or that if HE feels like he wants to try something or someone else,he should go for it. The only thing is that I can't guarantee that I will be here when he finds that everything that looks good to you, isn't good for you. He is 42 and should know better by now. I have been around a bit myself and have not forgotten how horrid the dating scene was, and is even worse now. But he has.Any suggestions as to what I can do.other than reason with him and plead that he lets his brain guide him instead of his hormones.

  • What can I do to get my 2.5 year old daughter (she is potty trained) to keep her underwear on over night?

It seems like it doesn't matter what I say,she still takes it off. She wants to sleep in the buff, and I just can't allow her to do that.Any clues as to why she does this, or what to do about it.If you have ever had this problem,Please offer suggestions as to what you did about it.

work I started it up on Saturday, drove about a half mile to the store, went in for about 5 minutes, came out and it wouldn't crank. There is no clicking or stalling noise or anything. There was corrosion on the battery heads.I had it cleaned, but it still wouldn't start.I then put a new battery in it,still nothing.I had a new alternator put on approximately 6 mos. ago.You know how a car won't start if it isn't in park or neutral?Well that's how it seems. What could this be?Please help! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

  • Why are there so many racist questions posted on yahoo answers?????

I am not oblivious to the fact that racism is alive an kicking, but I am always stunned to see that it is so much more prevalent than I ever knew.I guess I thought that more people were capable of accepting that it takes all kinds to make up a world, and that there is nothing they can do about it.I mean if you are soooooo bothered by other races you should probably end your misery, because the races are not going anywhere.LIVE AND LET LIVE!!!!!!!
