  • What is the carbon footprint fir the live earth concerts?

I'm no tree hugger, but if there is concern for the emmision of green house gasses; shouldn't they be forthright and tell us up front how many tons of CO2 are being released as a direct or even indirect (people traveling, passing gas - whatever) result of these concerts.

I also don't believe planting trees elswhere in the world is a sufficient 'carbon credit' (by the way, I think carbon creditsare a joke anyway).

  • How the hell is Ted Kennedy still in office?

I say there ought to be term limits...especially for a pompous *ss like Ted.

  • Build the perfect guitarist?

Assemble a guitarist with parts of other guitarists a la Dr. Frankenstein.

For example, James Hetfield's right hand, BB Kings vibrato, Steve Vai's experimentation and Stanley Clarke's ambidexterity.

    A Lazy Morning by Iroteb

    The alarm rings, it’s raining.

(Oh, how I love to sleep in on rainy days.)

It’s 10 o’clock in the morning, and still,

a little early for us to get up.

    So, we lie here a few minutes more;

like we always do, when we have nothing pressing to do.

We say good morning to each other, and

    slowly…stretch…our… limbs.

You reach for your glasses on the night stand,

and I push back the covers, so I can feel the cool air.

One of us mumbles something about how we should get up.

(Though neither of us wants to, and neither of us stirs.)

“Did you have any dreams?” you ask.

And, we talk a little more.

(Just so we can avoid getting out of bed a little longer.)

I roll over and kiss your arm, or neck, or shoulder.

Then I lay my head on your breast, and hear

The steady beat of your heart.

  • Why all the human bashing?

I have seen a few answers to questions that damn the entire human species. One answerer even called for the culling back of humans to 10 million. (I volunteer the jack*ss who suggested it to be the first.) I hope his/her answer was a joke. I would hate to be the one to determine the fate of billions of people, after all it would be the powerless that would be the first to go.

So I beg you, give me your thoughts on the human bashing here.
