  • Return flights from Ecuador to UK- help urgently please?

My son is in Ecuador and wants to come home, but hasn't booked a flight. Can I book the flight for him at this end, and how do I do that? Web-sites seem to have default settings on return journeys.

Would it be easier for him to book it there and me to send him the money- any answers appreciated quickly please.

  • Should I get upset?

I have been answering questions on here for ages- I am a very open minded and tolerant person, but like to be honest with my answers.

I recently answered a question in all good faith offering my opinion and then was accused of wanting to force my beliefs onto others, and other such stuff which made me realise the person making the accusations either hadn't read, or certainly hadn't understood, what I had said.

I feel bad about this, as I think YA is all about being free to express yourself.

What do other people think- should I let it go?

Do other people get upset when their answer has been misinterpreted?

  • Serious question for short men (not boys!)?

Would you, have you ever dated a woman who was taller than you?

This is a serious question- I have met a man I really like but he is smaller than me- should I let this bother me?

Would it bother him that I was taller?

I have only been out with tall men before- so would be interested in a male perspective on this- thanks.

Any help on how I can broach this without offending him would be appreciated.

  • Anyone had a refund from Virgin trains?

I feel that I was 'conned' into buying a first class up-grade from Virgin for a Sunday evening journey from Bristol to Sheffield.

I left Bristol at 6 30 and didn't arrive in Sheffield until 24 10- that's almost six hours. The train was dirty and I didn't get a drink until 11 30, and only then because I complained.

I got a refund of seven pounds for a eighty eight pound journey!

Anyone else had this experience? I won't travel Virgin again!

  • Something odd in a dream, was it coincidence?

Last night I dreamed a chemical plant exploded near my school and we had to evacuate- it was such a clear and detailed dream that I can't go into all the details here, except that when I got up I found that a chemical plant had exploded early this morning in Teesside (my son used to live there), and killed two people!!

What do you make of this? Is it just coincidence? It seemed so real!

  • Can any women sympathise/advise?

When I was younger and worked as a nurse I used to see old ladies with shiny calves and think they looked horrible.

Now, I have them! Can I use any creams to disguise it?

    What causes it?
