My sister and I have swimmed in pools very few times as we both prefer the sea. This friday, we went swimming to a pool because we both want to lose weight and besides, the pool is the only option where we can swim in winter..

Yesterday, we were both with nose mucose troubles. Sorry to disgust you, but we could barely breathe and the mucose is very thick and we can't take it out!

Does anyone know if the chlore used in pools is dangerous or damages the nose mucose? There was a lot of chlore in the air, there at the pool since it is a closed pool. Thanks for the answers!
