My Toshiba Satellite can't connect to the wifi at a local coffee shop. My phone can connect to it, and my girlfriend's laptop can too. Also, my computer's wifi works fine at my house and my girlfriend's apartment.

If I try to connect to it, it just "takes too long" to make a connection before giving up. It tries to diagnose the problem, but the "wireless association failed due to an unknown reason" is the best thing it can come up with.

I don't know what's up. This place is my favorite coffee shop in town and I'm here everyday, and I'm not getting a new computer til July. Any ideas?

Doing Elementary Japanese homework. Not a big deal, but I came across this problem--which is correct?

not sure what's happening but facebook on chrome has been acting up lately. some problems i've noticed:

1. i have to refresh multiple times to get the notification badge to go away (the red thing with the numbers at the top)

2. i can't post on anyone's wall. i can type, but the box doesn't expand as i type, and the share button doesn't do anything when clicked.

3. posted video box remains black. i can see all the comments, tags, etc. but where the video should be, there is just a black rectangle.

4. when i search for people, there isn't a suggestion dropdown. i have to type out the name of the person i'm looking for, then press search.

things i've done recently are disk cleanup and java update. facebook works fine on new firefox beta, so i know it's not just my computer. i'd prefer to stay on chrome because that's where all my bookmarks are and it looks cleaner. any suggestions?

when i was younger i remember reading a book about an odd penguin. he counted out of order, and i think he sang a song that had the lines, "i wonder, yep, i wonder" in it. does anyone know what i'm talking about, or am i mixing up two different books?

there's this girl i met last summer. it was at a pool party of a mutual friend. we ended up having a thing, but she wanted to wait a while before we took things further because she had just broken up with her boyfriend and it really hurt her. so i waited, but then she ended up dropping me for some other guy, who ended up cheating on her. i didn't speak to her much after that (since i was mad at her) but then after she broke up with that guy, she told me she was really sorry for giving me up for somebody who would just hurt her. she felt bad because she ended up hurting those who were good for her and choosing to go with people who weren't so good. i kind of brushed it off, since that was pretty much the last time we ever had a real conversation. sometimes she texts me and i reply, but i make no attempt to make conversation.

i feel like a bad person because i ignore her like that, but i don't think she really cares, and besides, she hurt me a lot. what do i do?
