Without the reward of Heaven no one would care if God was real or not. Say for a minute, that God exists, but Heaven and Hell do not. So when you die, you just die, nothing more. No one would follow Gods teachings, because they are not rewarded with anything. People follow God's teachings for Heaven. But why do people expect it, is life not a good enouph gift, must you be given more. People will argue that they expect it because it is written in the Bible, very true.But ask yourself this, if what I have said is true, if Heaven nor Hell existed,God's teachings are meaningless.So the only teaching that is important is Heaven, making the only reason people believe in God is greed. Many people will disagree with me, saying that they believe in his teachings for thier faith or for the logic in his teachings,though he does not fit logically himself.I cannot make you see it as I do and I don't want you to. Look at people and God's system. Make your choice,look at both sides before you decide!

Would people still follow God's teachings without the reward of Heaven.

If following his teachings and not following them, wielded the same outcome, there is no reason not to give into sinful desires.

So ultimatly, the only reason people follow God's teachings is for the reward of Heaven?

Forget why he would want to, forget all his roles to play, forget if he will always exist, focus on the one point. Can God destroy himself. If he can't Then God's not all powerful. If he can, than he's not perfect. Just please, focus on the question, not anything else.

With all these people wanting into the US cuz, mexico has many issues. Why do we not simply anex Mexico into the US? Or help the people reform Mexico? I mean we are waging a war in Iraq, where some people obviously don't want us over there. Now I realize alot do, but Mexico is right next to the US and they want our help, lets help our neighbors, before we try to help everyone. I also realize that not everyone wants or needs our help.

My answer would be that God cannot destry lucifer, because without evil God is no longer good. God needs evil to exist, without it he simply would be. I believe it is because there is no God, and what we percieve as the devil, is the evil within every human. What do you think? Also God teaches forgiveness, why can he not forgive the devil for his sin's?
