for some reason, whenever a guy holds the door open to allow me to go ahead of him, i always think it is so he can check out my a$$ as I walk past. a brought this up with my boyfriend and some other male friends, they insist that boys are just being polite when they do this, but my girl friends say that they know for sure that guys do check out girls asses when they are holding the door open for them, what is your experience with this? am i just being paranoid?

i was learning recently about how certain folk tale heroes, like Cinderella and the Swan Maiden are shamanic figures, and i realized that The Little Mermaid has shamanic traits, she ascends to another world, she is mutilated by a magical elder as an initiation right, she is lame as a symbol of this transformation, etc. even her pensive, somewhat reclusive behavior as a child is that of a young shaman-to-be. and now i think i remember something in the Da Vinci Code about TLM, was it that she was a shaman?

yesterday i got my wisdom teeth out, all four of them. i was supposed to take Percocet for 24-36 hours every 3-4 hours, but it made me feel sick after the second time so i didn't take it again, i just switched to ibprophen. that was last night and this mourning i feel pretty much fine, just a little sore. i wonder if they always tell you to take way more pain meds then necessary, or am i just a very fast healer? or, am i going to be getting much worse today and tomorrow, the surgeon said the 2nd and 3dr days were the worst for swelling. and thoughts from people who have done this?

I know a guy who is very religious (Christian) and very gay. His religious beliefs have made him decide to wait until he is married to have sex. He is very loving and accepting of everyone, in him his gayness and spirituality seem to go together perfectly, i was wondering if anyone else has experience with homosexuality and Christianity working harmoniously together.

this may be a stupid question, but it seems like from the phrasing that they may show the person why they were reported, in which case i need to phrase my reasons differently.

i just saw an answer to a kids question, the kid's question was totally innocent but this guy gave a really obscene answer. i really don't think that is cool. i mean this kid was seriously looking for advice on something he really needed, and this guy was just being gross. not making a generally offensive comment, but making sexual suggestions about himself and the boy. i went to the report abuse thing, this is the first time i've done this, but i ended up not doing it because i don't believe in censorship, or rather i believe in self censorship, that is, be responsible for what you say to others and choose what you support. however, self censorship does not really work on yahoo answers, which i would assume is the reason for the report abuse feature.

i'm just interested in how you all feel about this feature, my situation, and whether i made the right choice or not.

I dyed my hair super-blond a few months ago but the color came out sort of yellow/orange.
