I use to work with kiddos ages 6 & 7, I've retired and now just at home, taking care of business. I always remember that around halloween time, I've always had to plan farm trips (which were about an hour away) for our pumpkins and always paid an arm and leg for the pumpkins. So now that I'm a home body...I want to make a pumpkin patch here where I live (in the desert) and want kids who aren't able have pumpkins for halloween have pumpkins...but when do I start seeding these in order to have it available for Halloween? Anyone know?

I want to know if anyone out there would know how I can help her with out going a vet. She got kicked by a colt in the left eye, when she got kicked I didn't see her, but heard her cry. When I got to her, I immediately put her in the truck and went to lock everything back up to take her home, this took me about 5 minutes. When I got back to the truck, I noticed that this eye was swelling up. Now she is at home with me, sleeping; I put a wet cloth over it--should I put a ice pack on it? My other dog also has some pain pills for her leg, should I give 1/2 of that to ease the pain? I don't see any bleeding, so that lets me know there isn't a cut on the outside. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I have an evaporative air cooler on top of my house along with a regular air conditioner and it drips water, outside, when it's cooling the house down. But right now it is raining hard and lightening near my city so I turned the regular air conditioner off. Does anyone know if it is okay to run the evaporative air cooler, or will this make the house more humid (I have never used the evaporative air cooler before)?

I am planning a party for my friends that are coming into town and my apartment will not work, because we haven't seen each other for a long time, so I know we will get wild. So I am looking for suggestions if anyone knows of any good places in Scottsdale, AZ. Also, if anyone knows of any male strip clubs or where I can get a male stripper for this party, it's all girls...PLEASE HELP!

We just recieved a certified mail addressed to the "occupants of the house" and it had our address on it. My family and I are renting a house in the Phoenix area and we have never had problems, but when we opened this mail--it was actually for our landlord regarding the mortgage for this house. It stated that my landlord has not been paying for this mortgage since January of this year. My family has been paying the rent given to us and I've been trying to get a hold of my landlord to send this mail to, explain why we opened this and to ask her if I need to be worried about looking for a new place, but I haven't been successful today. I am planning on going to my landlords office tomorrow, is this a wise thing to do? What do I do if I come to a worst case scenario and find out tomorrow that my landlords company no longer exists? Or should I wait for my landlord to call me back after my many messages I left today about this?

My dog is a full bred 2 year old boxer, she is currently being treated with valley fever with medication and recently I noticed she has started pooping diarrehea the past two days. I changed her food recently, and thought it was this. But today, I noticed the diarrehea plus blood. She is eating and drinking normal (back to her old diet) and is exercising okay. Should I be worried to take her in to the emergency vet, or should I wait until the morning when our regular vet clinic is open? Note: We just came back from an out of town easter trip (northern Arizona desert) on Monday.

I have this pimple on the tip of my nose and it won't go away, I have had it for close to 3 day's now and I have washed it with acne soap 2-3 times a day, put acne meds on it after i have washed it and used a clean wash cloth each time I wipe my face. I need to know if anyone has any remedies that will help "kill" this acne!!
