Right now I am fairly decided upon either an XD 9mm sub compact or an SP101 357 magnum revolver for summer time "pocket" or IWB ccw. Both have their strengths and weaknesses and I am open to other options but please don't mention glock. I already have a 5" tactical XD and greatly prefer them over glock having shot several calibers of both. Personal note: I am quite accurate with both 9mm and 38 special and don't feel in a self defense situation I'd notice much of a difference between 38spl and 357mag. Also the point here is in easy self defense carry not necessarily needing 30+ rounds for multiple attackers which I don't consider the most typical self defense situation. Please correct any incorrect assumption I've made as debate will only make your position stronger.

I'm leaning towards the 2". Before I get flamed let me explain, I'm looking for a summer CCW weapon that is affordable and shoot-able. I've shot my mom's and love it, accuracy didn't seem to be a problem. I know that a longer barrel is preferable but thats why I have my 5" xd and need a summer CCW. Will I really see a lot of benefit from the 3" gun or should I go for 2" for the added conceal-ability? One way or another its better than an lcp with 380 auto lol.

I have been watching shows on tru tv like rehab, operation repo, so on and so forth. I know the most shocking, or wildest whatever shows are real. But these other shows seem very staged. Does anyone know for sure (with legitimate sources), whether these shows are real?

Case in point, rehab they had a server with a single flute on a tray and some guy smacked it out of her hand. This seems really fake because, as a server, I avoid using trays if possible even when carrying as many as 4 glasses at a time. It seems so faked!
