I have a Morab mare who has never had trouble keeping weight on before. She is going to be 31 this fall so she's a senior. She gets unlimited second crop hay, gets fed a mix of sweet feed, senior feed, and beet pulp daily (about 3-5lbs a day) and has been wormed. I'm thinking about adding a fat supplement, because I've heard that could help. She is healthy otherwise, she hasn't lost any of her energy and is eating well. Any suggestions?

Why is it when someone picks up a book, usually a nonfiction or a classic, they assume that the author has some hidden meaning behind what they are writing? Or some lesson they are trying to teach? Couldn't it just be the author doesn't have some ulterior motive and its just us as people making connections? What a reader gets out of writing isn't necessarily what the author was trying to say, or what the author intended to have happen. Right?

Well we want to leave each other, we've been married for 6 weeks and we had a lil fight this afternoon. She slapped me because I bit her. Now normally this would be ok, cuz we're into the whole S+M sex thing. But this afternoon it wasn't, I mean she was trying to steal the mouse from the puter when i was IMing my buddy, who is sometimes involved in our sexcapades, and i snapped, she took it away and i bit her!! Then she slapped me, how rude is that!!?? We are so ticked at each other, and now we are talkin divorce, we have only been together a few weeks, and yah.....We need advice. Did I mention we can't afford a real counselor cuz we are kinda like hobos, but not really...yah that's complicated too...but yah....help would be good. thanks

Just wondering if any of these could be considered metaphors?

Those are the words I have to use. I know all the characters for the vocab words, and I know the antonynms to all of them, but I don't know the characters to them.I just have to match them up with the characters, but I am really confused, help would be appreciated.

I have a severe fear of needles. I would really like to find away to get this fear lessened if not totally gone!! I know a lot of people say that just getting poked enough will help, but the truth of the matter is that it doesn't lessen my fear. I have had probably many more needles than most adults. My mother says I had a really bad experience when I was a baby and that it might be hereditary, since my dad is just as bad as me. :)

But I am applying for a job (I am 16) but I live in a small town and really there isn't much here to do. I am also saving up to go on the 3 week German trip this summer with the German Club.

The job I have choosen is in nursing, and in order to get the job I need to get a Tb test and a Hepatitis shot as well. As much as people have assured me that a tb test doesn't hurt, I get scared even thinking about it.

If any of you know what I am going through please send some tips on how you deal!!

I have an assignment in British Literature, using lines 1-126 of Beowulf I have to find kennings. 2hyphenated compounds, two written as prepositional phrases, and 2 written as possessives. I have a basic understanding of what a kenning is, but our book doesn't go in depth with them, so I am confused with what I am looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

This news takes place in the small town of Merrill Wi a town that only houses 10,000 people. I am a student of Merrill High and I am aiming to fix this unconstitutional wrong.

My mother is taking part in an exorcism on Thursday, she will be with 3 other women, but I am worried for her. Since I found out that if something goes wrong in the process the spirit can piggy back you home and get into another persons body. I am even more worried because this is an extremely old and violent spirit. My mother will be in the background helping out but not front and center. But I want to know some spells or things I can do around the house and family that will make sure if she does bring the spirit home it can't get in us or our house. The only thing I know of is sea salt, but that doesn't stop them completely.

I am making something with chicken tonight but I need to cook the chicken in the oven before hand. I would like to know if it is 1pm now what temperature I would have to cook the chicken at and for how long to have it done by 5? The chicken doesn't weigh more than about 3 or 4 pounds.

I would like to cook the chicken in the oven. I was also wondering if there is anything special i should put on the chicken for flavoring. And do I have to baste the chicken?

I have a 24 year old morab and when I ride her she is always tripping. She has been shod lately and there is nothing health wise wrong with her. So I am starting to get worried, I realize that if the rider is not balanced the horse can trip, but according to our trainer we are balanced. She seems to do it more when we are going at a walk then when we are at any other speed. So I was wondering if it could be because she doesn't pay as much attention to where she is going at a walk?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a severe phobia of needles (belonephobia). I have had it since I was born and I have surgery tomorrow!! All I can think about is getting the IV. And I am a nervous wreck!! I keep having panic attacks, and yeserday when I had to get a shot for my surgery I had 3 nurses in there just to give me the shot! I don't know what to do. I am just a wreck!! Please help! I am only 15.

I am having surgery on my mouth tomorrow. I am 15 years old, and have a severe fear of , doctors, needles, and dentists. :( I am scared out of my wits. And my grampa keeps talking about it and saying how I could die and stuff. He knows how I feel but he won't stop. I need some coping tips. They are going to give me some relaxation drugs when I get there at 5 am tomorrow, but I am afraid they will be like the last ones and they won't do a thing for me.!!

I feel so nervous, like I am going to throw up! And I have been trying not to think about it but it seems everytime I turn on the radio or tv there always seems to be something about a doctor or hospital on there. I basically need some comfort!!

Hi, this question is really for the horse trainer or expert. Please no stupid or mean answers.

I am getting a blind horse, I went to meet him and everything went good. He was well mannered, well just a little ansty since it was supper time. But he let me touch him all over and the girl (12 yrs old) picked up his feet and like I said was really good.

My question is, is there any way to introduce him to his new surroundings and training with the least bit of trouble on my part and the least amount of stress on his? He is broke, but needs another horse to lead for him to feel comfortable, you can also ride him with someone leading him and he does fine.

My goal is to get him to be able to get him to the point where he trusts me enough and will go on the trails and everything without guidance from an additional horse or human.

I am not really training savvy but I am willing to give it a shot and I think I will be successful.

Please no one say get a trainer.

I have to write a compare contrast essay . I need some ideas, I have the hardest english teacher, she teaches the highest classes. I would like to impress her, and I have no problem doing the research for it. I am very committed to my classes. But I need some ideas for it. What should I compare to what? And is there anything special I can research about it?
