Ok I have just recently rebuilt myself a new computer but have kept my old 6800xt gpu and if I go into my system settings is says that I have DX10, now I know this sounds dumb but its crazy. I live next to the Mississippi River and there a locking dams all along it and I was wondering why they couldn't put water turbines in them to produce electricity and in other big rivers. I was looking in to replace the factory dell 840 mobo but i soon ran into problems when i relized that the front panel has special connetors that most mobos dont. I wanted to use the same case but it looks as though that could be a problem, if anybody can help and allow me to keep the same case thats best but if it's not possible then ok.

I have basic cable in all of my rooms but one and that room has a cable box. My cable company set up the cable so that it comes into the house and it has a two way splitter; one cable goes to my cable modem and the other to a 4 way splitter; the cables from the 4 way go to 4 different rooms, but in one i have another splitter which is a 3 way, it goes to 3 other tvs. My cable company told me that i was reaching the max amount of tvs i could have hooked up and that i shoud get a amplifier to increase the signal strength, but didnt bother telling where to get one. Also does the length and thickness of cable matter and what are good splitters because the guy used 5-1000mhz that each output to another cable was only 7db, i tought this was kind of low. Any ideas.

Also does anybody have any pictures other then whats on the web site that's provided by avermedia, it sucks and doesn't do a whole lot of good.

I installed Windows Vista and before i did my IDE devices worked fine and now they dont work at all. The pc doesnt see them at all, even in the bios page it says not detected. anybody have any idea on whats wrong?

Will a pentium D CPU work in place of my old pentium 4 ht CPU? the Mobo doesn't have dual core capabilites.

I have two monitors and i was wondering if i could play delta force games on dual monitors. Right now when I start up any video game the second monitor goes black and i have tried everything to get video games on both screens. i have a xfx 6800xt

I was looking to get a new motherboard for my dell and would like to use all the current hardwar that i have. I also would like to keep the price below $250. I was also looking for maybe something that i could build on maybe that had sli or could support a dual core cpu if i wanted to upgrade.

I just got a sound blaster audigy card and i have installed it in an open pci slot, i also hooked up my 5.1 surround as told in manual. All sound that comes out of my pc is static or very faint, what should i do?
