  • Mold growth in tennants apartment.?

I had two tennants move in to my duplex two weeks ago, they complained about mold growth, I found the problem was a leaky water heater. I've replaced the water heater two days ago. Talked to the tennant yesterday, no more problems, today I've found that one has gone to the hospital. What should be done?

  • It is Well With My Soul by Selah?

Okay, I'm not going to ask anytype of theological question here.

I just gotta simple, or not, question I hope SOMEBODY out there can help me with!

I LOVE the song It is Well With My Soul by Selah. Its a beautiful version of one of my favorite hymns. But at the begining of the song, the two singers are singing....something. In some other language, I think its...hebrew? Maybe? The only thing I've been able to find is "Bika Mono Ve.." Unfortunately I'm no scholar of foriegn languages, but thats what I have the internet for! Hopefully somebody can give me the lyrics and the translation!

  • Whats your Favorite Buffett Song?

Alright, I've asked this question before, but I really didn’t get the answer I was looking for.

I want some hardcore Parrotheads answering.

Whats your FAVORITE Jimmy Buffett Song?

Currently mine is still Presents to Send You because basically in the 1st and 2nd verses, Jimmy prophesied my life up to this point. All the way up to the "fast movin' angel" to the "mess is a fifth of tequila".

Again, I want some hardcore parrothead answers. Last time I got "Margaritaville" "Cheeseburger in Paradise" etc, basically the most of songs from the "Songs You Know By Heart" album. Not that they're all awesome songs, I mean hell, your suppose to know them by heart! I'm talking about some of hundred OTHER songs ya know by heart. So flock out Parrotheads and starta squawking!

  • Ther Moon Size?

Okay this may be a dumb question.

Why is it that sometimes when I walk out side to smoke that I look up at the moon and its huge, then later on I come out again and its small? I think that it might have some thing to do with the rotations of the moon and the earth, and maybe the magnification due to the atmosphere? Maybe? I dunno thats why I'm asking you!

BTW while I'm thinking about it, and I'm typing this up, why does the moon appear to be red? My dad said something about dust in the atmosphere or something.

  • Captain America?

Throughout my life my dad has been readin and collecting comics. I was a fan, but not a big fan, I read acouple. I had alot of Ghost Rider, few Spiderman, Some Xmen, I actually collected the entire lil series of Michael Morbius (dunno I loved that character) and I had collected all the Sonic the Hedgehog Comics up till bout issue 110, but after getting ahold of some of the Ultimates Comics I FREAKIN love Captain America. My heart sank when I found out the killed Cap! Does anybody out there know any good info about the Cap movie? I read they are gonna make one, but everything else is scarse.

  • Whered all the good cartoons go?!?

Gah I'm 22, I'm a dork, I admit it, I like to watch cartoons. But gah... Okay I remember cartoons were actually good. The animation was good, the storylines werent THAT bad. But watching cartoons with my lil cousins, WHAT HAPPENED?! The art SUCKS, look at umm what is it the Billy and Mandy? Fairly Odd Parents, that American Dragon thing? Its like the writers are like "Lets make the stupiest, most idiotic thing we can do and see if kids buy it." Its all poor low quality! Amd while I'm on the subject, why hasnt there been any animated Disney movies anymore? Ya'll remember how PRETTY Lion King was? Or Aladin? Is it cheaper to make the movies on the computer? Or does it take less time? I dunno, CGI is okay, but I just want my old school art back, gah... I sound like my grandparents..honestly. Anyway I just want the fad to be over with. What do you guys think?

  • So whats your favorite Jimmy Buffett Song?

I'm a total undeniable completely fanatic uber Parrothead. I just got back from the Jimmy Buffett Concert in Atlanta a few days ago, and it was ****** awesome. The only bad part was, Jimmy's TOO POPULAR! THAT PLACE WAS PACKED! Anyways just wondering, whats you guys favorite Jimmy Buffett song? I know most will say, Margaritaville (duh) or Fins. Maybe Cheeseburger In Paradise, Son of a Son of a Sailor, or maybe even A Pirate looks at 40. Other than those staples of the Buffett lineup, whats your favorite? Mine personally at the moment (there are just too many!) is Presents to Send You

"But Honey I could never ever pretend your not, there on my mind"

  • Jimmy Buffett Question?

"Tried and I tried but I don't understand

Never seemed to work out the way I had it planned

Hangin' out at a marina when Steve Martin called

Singin' anybody there really want to get small"

Okay so the Son of a Son of a Sailor album was released in 1978, so maybe its somekinda slang thats not used anymore. So what the hell does "anybody out there really want to get small" mean anyway?!

  • Anybody listen to the Blues Channel on XM Radio?!?

I used to have the XM satellite radio until my subscription ran out. I used to love listening to the old Blues station. There was a song that they would play almost every night and I loved it. I THINK it was by a guy named Super Chikan.

    The lyrics went something like

"Oooh it aint the same no more..."

The singer talks about growing up in a crackhouse, there were so many cracks in the wall that they had to stuff the cotton up in the cracks to keep out the rain.

I loved this song, it was true old school Mississippi Delta Blues.

Also anybody out there know of any other good stuff? I've already got alotta Robert Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughn and some Muddy Waters. What else is there?

  • Anybody out there know how to translate Quenya?

Okay I've finally decided that I want a tattoo. I want either the word

    "Valiant" or preferably "Chivalrous".

Now I am a huge Tolkien dork, and I would love to have those words in a fine script translated into Quenya (the High Elven language, the speech of the Noldor and Vanyar)

Does any of the other Tolkien nerds already know how to translate those words? Or maybe give me a link to a good website to get them? I've already downloaded some Quenya fonts, so I should be able to spell it out and print it. I just want it authentic, I might spell out c-h-i-v-a-l-r-o-u-s but it wouldnt be correct.

Any really smart guys out there in net land?

  • So whats the SCARIEST story you ever heard?

    Mine personally?

There was a former Missionary at our church who told me a story about how he was in a small African village. One day he was praying by his bed. He prayed to God that he would force the demon that was keeping the villiagers from excepting Christ to leave. He said that then he turned to his left and seen a small hunched over grey looking creature (the nearest thing I can tell you is think Gollum, but eviler) who looked up at him and said "You cant force me to leave" then jumped out the window.

Now this man was an old missionary, and I highly doubt he would lie. It wasnt just me he was telling this story, but a large group of people, so why would he lie?

I dunno, he might, but demons are one of the only supernatural forces I personally believe in, thats why the damn story scared me so much.

So the real question is, whats the scariest thing you've ever heard? BTW I'm not talkin about that one time you watched The Excorsist or Child's Play alone at midnight.

  • Crossroads and a Deal with the Devil?

I've recently become a fan of Robert Johnson, the ol Blues singer who supposly went to the Crossroads and midnight and sold his soul to the devil to be able to play his guitar. I dont really believe that, but I find it extremely interesting. Does anybody out there in Netland have any other cool stories like that, or just any info at all about the subject? (BTW not really lookin for info on Robert Johnson if thats what you think)
