Removing shaver socket?
I moved into a newly built flat and the holes in the bathroom shaver socket are covered from behind with what appears to be white plastic. Is it safe to unscrew the saver socket so I can uncover the holes without switching off the mains (I don't have access to it)?

4 AnswersMonitors1 decade agoIn Windows Add or Remove programs, the 'Change' and 'Remove' buttons have disappeared....?
The programs I have installed are listed but most of them don't show the 'change' and 'remove' buttons on the left when I click on them.
Anyone how to fix that? I have tried using MyUninstaller, but that doesn't list those programs at all.
Thanks.

3 AnswersMSN1 decade agoCreation in the Bible vs. Science?
Before reading any further, I assure you I believe in God. However, I'm not Christian but certainly do not wish to offend those who are.
Firstly, in the book of Genesis, it is said that the earth was present in the beginning. Science tells us the earth is the result of a star exploding at the end of it's life. The matter released cooled and formed the solar system we have today.
Having asked this here quite a long time ago, it was really disappointing to hear Christians say that science has got it wrong, that there is no proof the sun is a secondary star and so on, even though, having paid attention in science class as all good Christians should, they ought to know the list of proofs is endless. But okay, never mind.
Secondly, it also says shorty afterwards that to distinguish between the night and day God created two lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night.
Would it be correct to assume He was referring to the Sun and Moon? If yes, then we all know the light of the Moon is actually coming from the Sun itself. It's not shining it's own light. If no, then what two lights was He referring to?
God also made grasses and herbs before He made the Sun, according to the Bible. Yet we know today that plants need to photosynthesise using solar energy in order to make their food.
Having brought these questions up at a certain 'Grill A Christian' conference held by the Christian Union at my college not that long ago, the guys from the local church failed to give an answer and in the end said they think the Bible is not to be taken literally. Yet, the order of the events is very clear in Genesis. So isn't this admitting that the Bible has got Creation mixed up? I mean, it's either an error or it isn't. If the Bible can get this mixed up, then how can anyone believe the rest of it is true?
If any Christian on here can logically and scientifically explain Creation as stated in Genesis, I'll be really grateful.
Please no Christian/religion bashing.
Apologies for any offence caused to anyone.
Thanks

3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoIt is said in Islam that the end of the world will occur on the 10th of Muharram....?
... but as we know, the Islamic calender is a lunar calender, so the date on any one day differs from country to country, eg eid is celebrated on different days throughout the world.
So does that mean that the day this world comes to its end, it will be the 10th of Muharram in some places but not others?
