Does anyone see the Democratic Primaries as a catalysis that has brought out the hidden racism in this country? I mean, there have been many questions on this site about Obama only being nominated because he black or if Obama was white would he have been nominated. Many people have express that they don't believe he would have been nominated if he wasn't black.

Is the overall feeling/belief that blacks only voted for him because he's black (btw -- he's biracial, and was reared in white home).

And realisticly, blacks only make up about 12% of the USA's total population and less than 50% of all eligible black voters actually vote, so how could the "black vote" have nominated Obama?

So the question: Has the democratic primary exposed some hidden racism in our country?

Me and this guy have been dating for like 4 weeks. And I really like him, he's sweet and kind and wants to make me happy (he's always doing sweet things for me and anything I ask). Well like the other day, we had hung out, but I sensed that he was distracted, so i said, "Baby, I'ma go on an go home, I can tell you got some stuff on your mind and I don't want to be in your hair" I kissed him and he said, "you can tell" and hugged me. I left and was cool with the whole situation.

Two days later he called and said that we should just be friends cause he was preoccupied with other stuff (his kid, child support court, a crazy roommate, finding a new job). so i was like cool. I didn't even get mad. i just accepted cause I was like he is being honest. But then, nothing changed. I mean he calls and texts all the time. We still go out all the time. He shares everything with me. I asked him about it and he says I deserved someone who can give him 100%. So what does all this mean?

I've been waiting for a good man to come along and treat me well. I date and no man over 38( I'm older so I date older) ever wants to get serious or act like they understand that I'm not they mama! So somebody PLEASE give me some reasons not to just screw around with whomever I want. So I've been seeing this guy for about a month. We get along well. He's a little whinny and needy. He always tell me his problems and I try to be supportive. I like doing this. On Valentines Day he had a major trauma at work, and I was there for him. I listen to him whine and carry on all day. But then I asked him if he was planning on wishing me a Happy Valentine's Day. I want to tell him that he's a whining butt hole! And that he deserves everything that his ex gives him cause he only cares about himself, but I'm crazy, I like him. What should I do?

I haven't had sex for 9 months. I have chosen to be celibate because I wanted (when this whole celebacy thing started) to figure out what I really wanted in a relationship without sex blurring the focus. But now I'm so horny, I'm going crazy. I have a friend coming over in an hour. He and I have flirted continuously for 2 years now. I'm very attracted to him and I know he likes me. When we met he was going through a divorce, and I never pushed. He's never asked me out and although we do flirt, I know he's been seeing someone else, but is not very serious with her.

It takes us about 2 hours and sometimes more to get this done. I think that's too much. I know that school has change in the last 2 decades and is now more rigorous, but is this too much. He's exhausted and hates school and I'm starting to too.

OKay, I meet this married guy in Yahoo 360. He says he's separated from his wife and has been for 2 years. But because he's Catholic he won't divorce her.
