Does the complexity of a movie scene affect streaming?
It seems to me that when I’m watching an action movie, like Avengers or something, that certain fight scenes will cause my connection to buffer. It’s become a trend I think. If so, why is that? Can, for example, a specific 30 seconds of a movie contain more data and cause it to stream slower than other 30 second snippets, or does the entire movie stream at the same rate per second?
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks!
Movies2 weeks agoYou know how you can tell how old a tree is by it’s rings? And you can use carbon dating to tell how old fossils and other things are? ?
Is there a concrete way to tell how old a human is while they’re alive? Like counting the wrinkles on the brow or something (joke) but seriously, is there a way? Thanks!

1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 month agoWorking on repairing my credit. Just obtained a new credit card I plan to use to pay monthly billsWhat’s the best way to use a credit card..?
To rebuild credit? Is it okay if I get close to maxing it out if I pay it off each month? Is there a percentage of credit available that I should stay below? And should I pay it in full each month, or do I want to keep a small balance? And how soon should I pay it to ensure activity is reflected on my credit report? IOW, can I pay bills with it and then pay it off/down the same day, or should I wait a few days/weeks so long as it’s paid before the due date?
Thanks!
5 AnswersCredit1 year agoFor 2017 I'm filling out my Schedule C and my mileage log is missing. I drove several thousand miles and cannot afford to lose this expense?
To further complicate things, my calendar was attached to a previous work email account that I no longer have access to, so I can't go back and try to accurately recreate my trips based on my calendar. The tax software I'm using has a box to check for whether or not I have proof of the expense, making it seem as though proof isn't required, but much of what I'm reading says some form of proof is required to avoid audit. What can I do? Thanks!
8 AnswersUnited States1 year agoMy iPhone 8, with OEM wired Apple headphones, is suddenly having issues. When I’m listening to a podcast and use the button...?
...on my headphones to pause, it stops my podcast and starts playing random music from my library. It just started doing this after the last update, but my 8 Plus is working just fine after the same update.
Any ideas what’s going on or how to correct this?
Thanks!

Music & Music Players2 years agoI have a 2004 Mini Cooper S. The fuel pump appeared to die so I took a chance and replaced it. Immediately after replacement...?
it fired right up. Not under a load, you can rev it up as high as you want and it runs smooth and sounds good. But when I drive it now, it sputters and makes an off vibrating noise that I can feel. Its a a low speed vibration. The only things I touched were the battery (to disconnect before I started and reconnect afterwards), and the fuel pump access door and the fuel pump. Any suggestions what can be going on?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs2 years agoI have a BMW I’m supposed to only use synthetic oil in. I want to do an engine oil flush with an additive. Can I use regular oil since I’ll?
Only be running it for a few minutes and then draining it and replacing the filter, or do I need to use synthetic for the flush too?
Thanks!
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs2 years agoThe starter in my 2007 BMW has been slowing dying, and it finally kicked the bucket last week. I swapped the starter Sunday, and now my car?
Seems to run better than it did before the swap. Is this totally in my head, or can a better start effect how well the engine runs overall. To be clear, it seemed to run just fine before he swap, except that the startup was slower and clunkier. Just curious. Thanks!
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs2 years agoI’ve had a cold or something for the last 8 days or so. The coughing is keeping me from sleeping. Last night, I went to sleep with a cough..?
...drop in my mouth which helped the coughing. When I woke up later, the cough drop was gone and I put another in my mouth and went to sleep. Question: is this dangerous? Can I, while asleep, manage these cough drops in my mouth, because my body knows I need them or something, or have I simple been lucky that I haven’t choked in my sleep yet? Thanks!
3 AnswersRespiratory Diseases3 years agoA few years ago I was in Iraq and we had no medical professionals on site. I ended up with an extreme ear infection. My ear hurt and was...?
...throbbing terribly. It hurt to the point I finally started stabbing the inside of my ear with a pen. Eventually, I popped something and fluid began to drain profusely and the pain went away in large part. Took a few days to actually get over it, but the intense pain was gone. I don’t think I’ve had any side effects from this, and my ear hasn’t bothered me in any unusual ways since. So, I’m just curious, what did I pop in my ear, and why didn’t that cause lasting damage (or did it an I just don’t know it yet)?
Thanks!

2 AnswersPain & Pain Management3 years agoThis link is temporary because for now it's a Local by Flywheel live link, and the site is local and still in progress.?
Here's the link: http://c6c54be8.ngrok.io/
If you look on the homepage in the right sidebar you'll notice the "popular" posts section with the numbered posts. For some reason, I can't figure out a CSS solution for changing the circles around the numbers to squares, nor can I determine how to change the background color to black. In essence, I can't isolate the element to alter using CSS.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

1 AnswerProgramming & Design3 years agoWife has a 2004 Mini Cooper. Battery was replaced about two years ago. Twice in the last week, she’s gone out to start the car and...?
It was completely dead. No lights at all, no ticking, nothing. The first time, I got out the battery charger to jump start it, and as soon as I touched the positive lead, all lights came on full power and it started without issue and without actually using the charger. The charger wasn’t even plugged in. The negative lead was never connected.
Couple days later, same. thing, only this time away from the house so I hooked up jumper cables to my other car, and then as soon as I touched the positive lead to the Mini (no negative lead attached) all lights came on and it started right up with no jump.
Any ideas about what could be going on?
Thanks in advance!

9 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 years agoWordPress question? Using CSS, if I use, for example, .sidebar .widget-title { font-family: roboto}...?
..am I telling the browser to change the font to Roboto only for widget titles in the sidebar, or am I telling the browser to change the font in the sidebars and to change the font for all the widget titles, regardless of where the widgets may be?
New to CSS. Just for fun. Thanks!
