I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S. The fuel pump appeared to die so I took a chance and replaced it. Immediately after replacement...?

it fired right up. Not under a load, you can rev it up as high as you want and it runs smooth and sounds good. But when I drive it now, it sputters and makes an off vibrating noise that I can feel. Its a a low speed vibration. The only things I touched were the battery (to disconnect before I started and reconnect afterwards), and the fuel pump access door and the fuel pump. Any suggestions what can be going on?

Start with an OBD2 code check, but be sure they have a scanner that works on German cars. The trouble codes will not be a guess- OBD2 doesn't guess or lie.
