  • Question about Rheumatoid Arthritis?

I have been suffering from R.A. for 28 years (since I was 3). I tend to develop a tolerance to each NSAID I take in about a year then I have to start increasing the dosage and eventually change meds when I reach the max dose. I have just gone through this process again but this time I can't seem to find anything strong enough to control my pain without exceeding maximum recommended dosage. Anyone have any advice from their own experience with any really effective NSAIDs?

  • I have a question about digital picture frames?

I am NOT a technical person so this may be a stupid question. I would like to get my parents a digital picture frame for Xmas but they don't have a computer. Is there a model that you can load the pictures directly to without downloading into your computer first?

  • I have a question about Antidepressants and Birth control?

I have read a lot about Antidepressants decreasing the effectiveness of the pill, even herbal supliments like St. John's wort. I think I may be mildly depressed but I will not take anything that will mess with my birth control. Is anybody out there taking anything that has the green light to mix with the pill? Any Doctors, Nurses or Pharmasists who can give a little advice? My Doctor has a bit of a listening issue so I don't like to go see him without a drug name if I can help it.

    Thanks.

  • Sleeping pills?

A few years ago I remember reading about a drug in the developement stage that was a new kind of seditive. Because most insomniacs have trouble FALLING to sleep not STAYING asleep its effects would only last a couple of hours rather than the usual 8. This would also alow one to take a pill after tossing ang turning for a couple of hours which is something many of us do. Anyone heard anything about this? I'm going for my yearly checkup soon and I'd love to have a name to ask my doctor about. Thanks

  • Anyone have any suggestions about excessive sweating?

I used to be able to even wear a shirt twice without washing it (in the cooler weather of course) but in the past year my underarms always seem to be damp. I've tried a dozen different antipersperants none are significantly better. And it does not seem to have much to do with heat. If I'm really warm I'm sweating more but even when I'm cool I'm a little sweaty. Not going through menopause and hot flashes or anything (only 29). Any Sugestions world?

  • Has anyone found a good, non prescription, weight loss pill?

I'm not looking for magic so, please no lectures. I am not on any specific diet plan but by eating less and doing more I have lost 20 lbs in the last 3 mths or so.

I know that is pretty good and I am happy but, I've also sort of platoed and was wondering if anyone had any advice how to get things going again?

Also I can't afford crazy expensive pills so anything more than 25 or 30 bucks a bottle would probably be out of my price range.

(I am 29 and weigh about 170 at 5 foot six so please don't worry that I'm some anorexic 13 yr old!)

    Thanks.

  • A question to those who feel being gay is a choice...?

If sexuality is a choice then we all must have made that decision. So my questions is how did you come to the decision that you are straight?

  • I've been tasting salt all the time for a week.No change in diet, meds or cosmetics. Any ideas?

I have not been feeling otherwise unwell. This just came out of nowhere. All my surfing has come up with lists of conditions for various taste issues such as "bitter" and "matalic" but nothing for salty. I guess I just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone has insight. It seems stupid to go to a doctor over a weird tase in my mouth when I'm otherwise fine but it is diturbing.
