I live in a very rural area and I have found it necessary to get a land line because my reception for my cell phone is non-existant!

I have contacted all phone companies available in my area and they all say they do not cover my location. I know that there was phone service here previously: there are phone jacks and there is a Sprint phone service box at the end of the road. (Embarq has since bought Sprint and they say they do not cover my area.) However, the previous owners have passed away.

There has GOT to be a way...

Personally, I think they are cucumbers soaked in evil.

I have a day filled with nothing to do. I do, however, have the internet at my disposal.

Does it make you feel better to be grouchy to people?

It's a real buzz kill.

I find I want to make my mood better, not make more people grouchy.

We were together 10 years. After trying everything I could think of to help pur relationship survive, he left me for his addiction to meth. He quickly realized he had nowhere to go. Prior to his leaving, things had gotten bad: lying, yelling, screaming, threatening, stealing, cheating, all on his part. He wanted to come home; I said no, not if we're going to make each other miserable, as our new hobby. I loved him, still love him, with my entire soul. I believed we would be together forever, we were the best of friends. his addiction took it all away.

i haven't heard from him in 18 months; I ask about him everytime I can, it's important to me that he is ok. he won't hear of me or speak about me, until last week. He sent me an email telling me that he "hates me for abandoning him when he was sick" and telling me he still misses me in the same sentence.

I can't cope, emotionally, with the hate and hurt he holds toward me in his heart.

Do you believe:

Can someone who holds anger, hate, and hurt in their heart for someone in their past, truly move on and find happiness with someone new, without letting go of those negative feelings?

My heart is just devastated, and I need help making sense of these negative feelings toward me. I let go of mine, I apologized, I begged for forgiveness (and believe me, I don't beg for anything).

What more can I do to sooth my soul, mend my heart, and truly let go of something I want desperately to hold on to?

How do I even begin to move on?

Time isn't making it easier, so save that one. It's been 18 months.

Last week, it was damn near 80 degrees; TODAY, it's in the 40s and we have a 60% chance of SNOW tonight?!?!?!?

But pollen is very high?

WAY WIERD!!!

when they get hot in the middle of the night, get up and, half-asleep, carelessly smack the thermostat lever, to something like 50 degrees, so that when everyone wakes up, it's FREEZING in the frickin' house, and somebody now has to get up and brave the cold to turn the heat up to a reasonable/thawing temperature?

And let's not even start with how cold that makes the toilet seat...

Geez!

What should I get him? He's already recieved his actual presents- Opening day Red Sox/Royals tickets and a PS3.

I want to give him something small today..

I was thinking a birthday cake and balloons- not sure if that's really a "guy" thing?
