I have recently "adopted" a soldier overseas. This is a program where we send letters and care packages on a regular basis (Soldier's Angels). My adoptee is a woman of Puerto Rican descent. I only know this from her email address. I know next to nothing else about her; I am not going to assume she speaks spanish or anything else. What I am wondering is if there are any specific treats, food items, or personal care items that are specific to people of Puerto Rican descent. I just want to make sure she has as much of home as possible in that hellhole. Thank you!

Not only is it not a cancer risk, but it could help save 3 million Africans a year with its use. Why do the WHO and other aid organizations refuse to spend money on such a beneficial pesticide?

Please don't start with the demise of bird life... it has been shown that if DDT is used in proper/small amounts around villages and areas where there are humans it will decrease malaria dramatically. The bird issue was due to the fact that we sprayed DDT on EVERYTHING all the time, even picnicking human beings.

Homemaker-for-Hire. Someone to clean, cook, do laundry, wash windows, etc. I can be hired to cook a private dinner to impress a few friends or to wash your windows. I will do your laundry and fold it while cleaning the bathrooms. I am only available to a few customers a few hours a day or for a brief period on the weekends. I know the name and approximate date. I know the city but not the exact location. I have the local paper (Savannah, GA) looking for a newspaper article but without exact information, the police are unable to locate a copy of the police report. This murder has never been solved and I am curious as to the facts surrounding the case.
