For social security and medicare I know that the employer and the employee both pay the same amount. Why are they taking their portion out of my paycheck also? I have EE and ER taken out, somebody please explain!

I was going down highway 410 in WA state and put my brakes on to turn into a driveway, I put normal pressure on the brakes, but they locked up as I was turning, which caused me to slide off the road and flip my car into a ditch. After everything happened, when the Washington State Patrol showed up they gave me a ticket for RCW 46.61.305, for $165. I want to contest to this because it was not my fault that the brakes locked up. How would I go about this? Do I check contested hearing, and if I do, will I win? (I have to do this by mail because I live in Tacoma WA and this happened in Yakima county, which means I would have to go to Yakima Court House, which now is too far as I have no car...)

We live in the zip code 98409 area (Tacoma, WA) and Have Comcast BASIC cable and have only lost a few channels.

We did not loose all the channels only a few,

I know that the 2009 change affects antenna only but i heard comcast can pull any of the channels from their basic cable if they are not local channels, well we did not lose any local channels here.....Is this outage Temporary or Permanent!

(If your wondering why i am asking here is that our cable was just "on" when we moved in and do not get billed for it..)

We do the bleep test in school, Actually the P.E. teachers call it the pacer. I think it is the 15 m version. I have looked all over the web to find a downloadable copy of it, but every copy i find is a bad recording of a guy. The one my teacher has is a girl and in the background, there is music playing, and it changes between every level. Does any one know what copy this is(What website has the cd or just what the manufacturer of the cd is) or where to download it?

I don't like vista. but my friend needs to upgrade their video card. Neither him nor i know how to figure out how much ram the current video card has in vista. Please help.
