Okay, it may be a mid life crisis but I really need a career change. The problem is my income level. I just spent hours going through salary.com's list of careers and very few of them peeked my interest and the one's that did didn't pay enough. I need an income replacement of 50k and am not against attending an online college for a degree that will land me that kind of career. I'm not sure what I'd like to get into but I do know it has to be something mechanical in nature. I can't be a pencil pusher. Any suggestions on where to start this journey?

President Bush is reportedly considering a gradual withdraw of troops from Iraq. It seems as the same thing that happened in Vietnam (which was a mistake) is again happening. For those that support the U.S. getting out of the war on terror please explain to me how you would ensure the U.S. will not fall prey to these jihadists. Everyone agrees that they will follow us home in fact we already know they're here waiting for the order to attack so what's the answer? Are you prepared to fight against them. What will you do when a car bomb goes off at your workplace or a school becomes a hostage incident? Are you happy with your support of withdraw since it guarantees America will become the battle ground? Whether you agree with this premise is mute. It is going to happen. America will become the battle ground when we leave Iraq. Serious answers to this serious question please.

Many Europeans are already waking to the call to prayer by a Muslim muezzin. Prime Minister Brown has told his staff not to say the terrorists were muslim when talking about the latest terrorist attacks. He has dropped the term "war on terror" and is implementing a more "consensual" tone with regards to muslims. Hasn't the European nations been "consensual" enough? Do Europeans realize that their population is dying out while the musllim population is breeding in their countries like rabbits? Sharia law could actually be legislated in these countries. Do the people of Europe really want to live under Sharia law?

We know where those that are under arrest for the latest bombing attempts came from and we all have a pretty good idea what their ideology is. We need to quit p uss y footing around with these people.

Installing catalytic converters on automobiles cut the horsepower drastically in the early '70's. A '68 chevy 350 V8 was capable of making 350 horsepower. The 1973 chevy V8 was cut to 190 hp and in the '80's it was 170 hp. This meant that the engines had to work harder to move the vehicles.

The catalytic converter converts CO (carbon monoxide) and Nx into CO2 and N2. SO the more we squeeze the emissions from vehicles the more CO2 we will produce. It's also been reported on that the increase of CO2 has made plants such as oison Ivy healthier and the oil more irritating to human flesh.

Co2 levels are also going to cause 3rd world nations to be able to provide food for themselves which will go against the new world order, when 3rd world nations can provide for themselves they will no longer be oppressed by their leader

I've tried to use dave ramsey's website for sources in 4 questions.

I'm making a box but it's not going to be square. The top of this box is going to have a 45 degree drop off. If the flat of this box is 11" and then it has a 3.5" 45 degree drop what would be the bottom measurement for the sides of this box?

A company that I worked for in the past has bought out the company I currently work for. I don't care about loosing this job. I have inside information on the parent company busting the union and would like to blog about it on my 360 site. Could I face legal repercussions for disclosing this since I'm involved? I have signed a non compete statement but I don't believe this falls into this category. The reason I ask is that the employee's of the parent union company could have a law suit brought against them because of how the parent company busted the union. Like I said I don't care about loosing this job that is why I'm home now to look for a new one I refuse to work for a company with ethics like the parent company has.

This will be a total shock to the economy of America but as history will show you we can bounce back from anything. The countries around the world who wish to destroy us would not be able to sustain themselves though and 10 to 20 years we could try to help the world again but the 1st priority should be to ensure the sovereignty and sanctity of the United States of America so that future generations may be helped by our most generous people.

My friends company bought out my company. He has just been fired but I retained my job. I knew he and his coworkers were going to loose their job because they were union and my shop isn't. I knew 3 days before that they were going to bust the union. I was told not to say anything or my job would be in jepardy. I have my own family to provide for but in my occupation I could get another job in a second. Am I a cad for keeping my mouth shut? or does self preservation come into play here. I quit my friends company to work at this company which is in the same business. I quit because of the manager. This manager will now be managing my shop and I don't know if I will stay here or not. There is a chance that if I quit my friend could get a job at my shop. What should I do?
