one last question for the day...

What if Jesus was holding out eternal, everlasting life as a present, and He says "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Eternal life is worth far more than a new car. I believe Jesus wants to give it to you. Take it from Him - it is free. I took it right out of His hand, and He just replaced it with more for you. What an awesome freebie. Jesus won't condemn what He has set free...

Some people are grateful and thankful - and some are bitter and angry and resentful. I guess I'm confused how someone could not be happy about forgiveness and eternal life and mercy...

After all - it probably means something nice like "the Christian Peace treaty"...

Jesus is awesome! Woo-hoo! Praise the Lord all you peoples!
