My brother smoked Pot when he was younger like age 18. He got caught and got in big trouble. So 7 years later he has cleaned himself up, served 4 years in Iraq as a Marine and came home to start his career .

He applied for 3 cop jobs and got turned down only because he had smoked pot on his record.

HOw in the HEll can Oboma get on national TV and say he snorted Cocain, smoked pot, sold drugs, drank and the everyone seems down right ok with that and vote to let him run our nation? YEt my brother got turned down from trying to better himself, put his life on he line in Iraq, watch his closest friends be blown up and turned down civil jobs.

Change is not always good

OK, just got over my period and my husband and I were intimate a few days later. So about just a little under 2 weeks , I noticed my breast hurt badly.. I mean extremely sore and tender... I took a pregnancy test and obviously it is negative because it is still early. Not to mention my cycles are very irregular. However is this possible to be pregnant with some symptoms with having intimacy only a few days after your period ends?

My children never really regarded race being an issue until Obama started his campaign. They play with both black and white kids and never noticed skin color.

Now they ask me all the time if blacks and whites have problems because what they hear on the news.

I feel alot of Black people are and will always remain racially oppressed in their minds and until they change their thinking they will always be slaves to their thoughts. I truly believe the way you think you are, is the life you will live. Obama and the Un-Reverned Wright have opened a healing wound and made it pour with pus.

No law is proposed but I was thinking a huge waste is all the packaging we throw away. Think of the holidays and drive by houses the day after Christmas and look at all the huge piles of packaging out at the garbage. Look at our food packaging.

What a waste. If Congress can't pass a law how about eve giving tax breaks to companies that do use biodegradable or less packaging-

my sister turned down a full time job that would pay her double because she would loose her free medical, and have to pay more taxes. So she kept her under paying part time job just so she could live more on the system.

This is exactly how poor people think, now Obama wants to reward them more! How in the world is this going to move the economy forward.

You punish if you succeed. Why should people who succeed carry the burden of people who choose to stay poor?

If this happening now, I can only imagine the increase of people like my sister take advantage of Obama's system.

Obama's plan to not tax senoirs is wonderful and sounds great but do Seniors really need the Tax advantage? Most of them already get social Security, most of them are living off pensions and retirement which are already tax free anyway. Seniors already get Medicaid and many other Social Service help. Seniors can make up to $12,000 along with social security tax free

So how does Obama's tax cuts help them and take more from the younger generation of higher incomes?

Next question: Alot of under income people include a variety of people. Some are full families that get huge tax breaks with child tax credits )a privledge that higher income workers loose)

My husband and I lost all 3 of our child tax credits) so under income families get hige tax breaks already

Nancy Polaski and her crew told America they can change it, well they sure did. Since the Dems took the house is when the economy took the BIG crap. Even after 9/11 economy recovered slowly. The the Dems came in and 2 days later stocks sank and with weeks the Gas crisis began.
