  • 70's Match Game, Gene Rayburn catch phrase ?

    I know this is silly, but it popped into my head and I cannot remember what it was ... so, you're my best hope.

    In the 70's there was a game show called the Match Game, hosted by Gene Rayburn. They would have a phase with a blank in it, and the contestants would fill-in that blank with a word, and try to MATCH, 6 celebrities.

    Usually there was one answer that made more sense and if you watched a lot of TV, or the Match Game, you would think of it, it would be obvious.

    Gene Rayburn used to call that obvious answer the ______ answer. (not obvious though).

    Can anyone who used to watch that show remember the phrase Gene Rayburn used to say when someone would hit on the most likely answer?

    The "something" answer???? What was it ?

  • UNIX/WEB Is There a Javascript VI Editor For Editing Text In A Web Text Port?

    I am a UNIX guy, and I love the vi editor. It is the fastest way to enter, edit, text that I know of, all using the keyboard.

    I know there are a lot of people who do not know vi, but I was wondering for those that do, if anyone had ported vi to javascript so that people trying to enter text like in a blog have a better way to edit that text?

    Has anyone who understands what I am asking every heard of such a thing, and is there any reason why it could not be done?

  • WinXP - how to print to file, preferably in .bmp format?

    I am looking for a way of taking any kind of file I might want to print, and having it end up as a bitmap (.bmp> formatted picture ... just as if I had printed it out and scanned it in my scanner to .bmp format.

    The more automatic the better. The most transparent way would be to have a printer(driver) set up in the printer properties to do this.

    Does anyone know specifically how to do this?

  • CSS - INLINE change to <A> to affect link, visited and hover properties???

    Anyone know how to change the default properties of a link as you would in a style sheet, but in the INLINE code ... here is what I want to do, sort of works sometimes, but it is broken:

    <A HREF="http://myweblink.com"/

    STYLE="link { color : black ; text-decoration: none ; }

    visited { color : black ; text-decoration: none ; }

    hover { color : yellow ; text-decoration: underline ; }

    active { color : blue ; text-decoration: underline ; } ">

    The text of the link.

    </A>

    Why doesn't this work when they say you can do it inline?

  • I heard about a guy w/ bad teeth went overseas to get them fixed very inexpensively - anyone know about this?

    The guy was interviewed on the radio and he got expert dental work done in Eastern Europe for about 20% of the price of American dental work and got a vacation to boot. I might want to do the same thing if I hear good stories about it, and it works.
