We are in Louisiana and had the county dump dirt in our yard. They got it from cleaning the ditches on the side of the road. When we were digging in it, we came accross two snake/worm looking things. They didn't have any scales like snakes, they're really boney, and they have catfish looking tenicles on each side close to their heads. WTH? I thought it was a cross between a catfish and a snake since it looks like a snake that was trying to evolve into a catfish. They do have a nose because I did see the mud move away when he would breath out. Doesn't look like he has any eyes. And again, he is VERY boney, feels like he has a lot of bones in him. Maybe someone can tell me what these things are and if they're harmful.

My neighbor bought a smoker, but can not get the food to come out right. It is propane, about 4 shelves with a drip pan and wood chip pan. He keeps the temp around 190-200* and cooks it for around 8 hrs. He has tried brisket, chicken, and ribs and all of it has come out so tough that we had to throw it away! All of the food is pink inside and im afraid to eat it. The beef I don't mind, but the chicken was pink and spongy inside and he said it comes out that way. What is he doing wrong and what is the proper way to smoke foods so we can eat them? Should the food be pink inside and the chicken slimy?

I watch the show and love it! This might be a stupid question but does anyone know what the guy from Louisiana says when he gets excited? Sounds like he yells out or calls the other guy 'Paw Paw' Is this correct and what does it mean? This will probably have to be answered by someone that doesn't have to read the subtitles when Shelby (Louisiana axe man) speaks lol

Is there a way to open my facebook home page and not see all the stupid farms, mafia wars, causes everyone is joining? I like to read peoples posts and what they are doing in their lives, not that they are looking for fake farm animals for a fake farm. Also, can I prevent people from sending me these stupid "Amy just sent you a drink" things? How do I block these so I just see peoples comments and posts?

I have been scammed by The Medical Institute for Cosmetic surgery in Miami Fl. They've admitted that they owe me a refund but will not pay.

Ive posted them on ripoff.com and faxed them the posting, no response

Ive turned them in to the Attorney Generals,they dont handle individual cases

Ive turned them in to the Board of Health and medicine, have not heard back from them

I have a website telling everyone that they are scam artists

I've posted on FB and myspace so my friends will see

I've turned them into the BBB, they say clinic wont answer the letters

I will be protesting outside their clinic soon

I've turned them in to Miami/Dade mediation and the clinic admits to mediation that they owe me the money

I will sue them when I get the money, but if they've admitted to Miami/ Dade mediation that they owe me the money but wont pay, I don't think they'll pay me even if they have a judgement against them. So right now, im just trying to make them as unhappy as i am. So my question, is there anything else i can do? Websites like ripoff.com, etc. Because nothing else has worked so far.

I went for a cosmetic surgery consultation, decided on a procedure, and paid them for it. They gave me a surgery date and I showed up, on time, with a 'ok' for surgery form &blood work from my DR., and they canceled me! They promised me a full refund but never got it. I took them to the court mediation and they admitted to owing me the money but have yet to pay it. I know if I sue them and get a judgment, the paper will only be good to wipe my a** with since they haven't paid me yet. They've done this to others. The local news did my story and found out that they have two dr.'s on their website that are not affiliated with this clinic in any way. So I know my money is gone but what can i do to make their lives a living hell? Attorney Generals office wont help, Dept. of Health says its not their dept., Police cant do anything, BBB closed my case because this company wont contact them. What can i do? They are incorp. medical facility.

I just want to know how safe the area is. Im looking in the area for housing and will be moving from florida soon. I want to know everything about the area so dont hold back! Thank you in advance!

We haven't gone to any interviews yet, but he has me signing a bunch of papers for immigration. Im in the state of Florida and i want out of this marriage and mentioned it to him one time. He yelled and said he wouldn't sign and id have to pay a lot of money. I don't have a lot of money and legal aid has a 6-8 month waiting list. What should i do, step by step? Awhile ago I found a cheap home embroidery machine on the internet, now I cant find it. Will someone help me find the cheapest machine that will:

1) Let me take anything I want that is saved on my computer and embroider it. (I want to have people send me their band designs)

2) Will let me embroider on tee shirts without breaking needles. (I don't care if I have to do the pattern section by section because of the hoop size)

My husband wants a telescope. He has never had one before, but he figures things out quickly. Does anyone know of good package deals, maybe with a dvd to help him find things in the sky? I would like to spend around $250 give/take. I have read many pages and many say start out with bionoculars, but everyone tells me he will be disapointed if he wants a telescope. I also know enough to go somewhere other than Walmart/kmart etc. My head is spinning, so I need an easy way out. Will someone tell me a good tele. to start with. I would love for him to see something interesting like planets or other moons. Forgive me, this is not my strong point. Please give me some different models to look up. Thanks in advance!

My computer is blocking me from logging into projectplaylist.com. I know it isn't my username or my password because I can get into proj.play on my mother in laws computer. What is my computer putting up to block this website and how can I take it off? I signed up on my computer, got onto the website a few times from my computer, but now it will not let me on the site. I put in my username and password and push the 'sign in' button and the screen will blink(like it refreshes), the username and passwords will still be on the screen but off to the side, and it will not sign me in. I've tried to do a new sign up but when I go to 'sign in', it does the same thing so I know that it isn't my password or username being wrong, something is blocking the website. To my knowledge, I haven't added anything like spyware or virus control . What could it be and how do I let certain pages in?

I have found some problems that don't follow the 'rules' that were explained to me. I was told, "to subtract a 'positive', add its 'oppisite negative". Vise versa. So how come Im getting problems that contradict that rule? Example: 5b+7 minus 3b-2. The answer is 2b+9. So we have added the 7 and 2, made them positive. I understand that, that follows the rule. Now, I see another problem 13x+4y+9 minus 2x-y+8. I understand that the +8 will become a neg., but why does the rule of adding not stand? The answer 11x+5y+1, so I have to subtract the 9 and 8. How do I know what to do?

I have 'Elementary Algebra' and it shows how to do most of the problems but they are throwing in some problems they don't explain. I am wasting too many points asking question on yahoo every 5 minutes. I have tried webmath.com, but I don't know what many symbols and things are called so I can't look it up. Maybe a book for idiots, cause' obviously, I am a total idiot to forget all the algebra I took in high school and college.

I was stupid and didn't mark down when I had my period last month, but I am positive that I am bleeding early. I usually have the huge signs, bloating, cramps, gain weight, but didn't this time. Now I have been bleeding for over a week! My periods usually only last 3 days at the most! I haven't started any kind of birth control, and I am not on any birth control pills. I don't take any medication (aspirin, cramp relief,etc.) unless I am close to death. Could this be menopause?

I am 37 yrs old.

Periods have been normal since age 16.

Periods last 3 days, 4 max with just mild spotting on 4th day.

No birth control pills for 2 years, but had no problems when using them.

I feel great, but have had little sleep. I haven't been tired. Maybe just some added stress, but I have had a lot of stress before and it never changed my period.

I don't want to see a doctor while on my period, but I don't have insurance or the money anyway.
