How do you really leave someone for good. How do you walk away when love and "connection" just aren't enough anymore. Suggestions for the stuck...

Last year Wachovia bought AG Edwards. Now that Citigroup has absorbed their banking division will this effect the brokerage division. I live in the St. Louis area and AG Edwards was a major employer here so subsequently the health of Wachovia means alot to this region.

What are your thoughts, advise? Are my friends going to lose their jobs?

I have been exercising for years. I'm an avid walker and I lift, but I wanted an extra jolt. SO...I have joined the trainer from hell who also has us following a very strict meal plan. Everyone in his classes has awesome results. We weigh in every Tuesday. In 3 weeks I've lost 4.5 lbs. My best friend has lost 22 lbs in the 4 weeks since she joined. Another friend lost 7 her first week.

I totally see results as far as inches and clothes go...but he only cares about the pounds. I am getting a little discouraged. All my health and weight loss knowledge is not helping me...

Please encourage & advise.

My boyfriend and I broke up about 10 days ago. It is definitely for the best. The whole on again off again situation had gotten pretty toxic. Love can sometimes just not be enough. We were together almost 3 years. Of course it hurts blah, blah, blah...

We live pretty close to one another I can see his apartment from mine...my question is this, why did he find the uglist chic ever to start messing around with? I am not exaggerating, she's hideous and really wide (not in a bottylious sort of way either).

I always felt like my ambition and personality matched his, but recently he had started to resent my schedule demands.

Is the ugly girl just easier?

I feel heavy and distended already. I can barely make it through my workouts, waking up is an enormous hassle, and I swear my stomach is sticking out. Everything stinks (literally) and I am nausus all day.

I have an eight year old so this is not my first. I was 24 when I had her and now I'm 32...could it really be this much harder eight years later! I am so sick of feeling shitty and looking ugly. Help!

I saw that a similar question was asked by Dan0207, and everyone said no...but 2 people I work with were discussing it yesterday. Both saying that they ate their chili that way, becasue of the school lunches that were served.

They come from 2 totally different age groups, races, and socio-economic backgrounds. Plus one was born in Missouri the other in Illinois, hence different school districts..

Can someone else please confirm this odd eating combo.

I have found that men my age seem somewhat uncomfortable with my career success. I always have a great rapport with younger men, we can really talk and vibe while men my age...well not so much. I am 32, most men I date are 25-27.

(I realize this is a generalization limited to my world but, you can only work from where you are.)

I tasted an Asian soup recetly that left a taste of dishwashing liquid in my mouth...sorry I don't remember what the dish was called. I thought it was cilantro I was tasting byt I'm not quite sure. I tried asking, but the language barrier got in the way. Any feedback?

A Primerica/Citibank representative visited with me on yesterday and gave me her spill on buying life insurance. Does anyone have any experience with this comapny? How would you rate their services, are they considered reputable?

I got a call last night from my teenage cousin saying she did think she wrote the book...she said the language "felt" different. I am only 180 pages in (don't spoil the ending for me if your finished!) but I didn't get that same feeling. Any thoughts/feedback?
