I have a 91 CRX Si and the transmission grinds in 2nd and 5th. I wanted to buy a complete transmission assembly from Honda but the item is discontinued.

Any suggestions for what I should do to have my transmission rebuilt? I really don't want to take it to a shop and get scammed. I'm pretty technical and I have confidence that I could rebuild the tranny myself with the right parts.

It's a bit strange. I left for the weekend and left my year old chihuahua at home with my father and sister. My father told me that my dog started throwing up quite a bit on Sunday and wasn't eating. When I got home on Monday my dog was running around and playing as usual in the yard, no vomiting or anything else. This morning she woke up and ate about 1/4 cup of food and she's been playing as usual, the only weird thing is that she's not eating any food.

Shes 12 lbs and I typically feed her 1 1/2 cups of food 3 times a day but now that it's noon she won't eat again which is really strange. Just curious if anyone has any ideas?

Friend puked all over the pass side of my car (perforated leather seats, in the gear shift boot, and some on the pass side carpet.

I cleaned the carpet with some profession auto carpet cleaner, used lexol leather cleaner, and 303 aerospace protectant but the car still smells like vomit. Any tips for getting the smell gone?

Why are mass prayers allowed at the Obama inauguration? What about separation of church and state?

Public prayer isn't allowed in public schooling, so why should it be allowed at a presidential inauguration? Religion has no place in this type of political ceremony.

Can anyone actually justify why marijuana is illegal while alcohol remains legal after kills thousands of people each year?

Personally, I feel like alcohol can impair you FAR beyond any amount of marijuana.

I have a 91 CRX SI with a Jackson Racing supercharger on the stock D16A6 engine. I have an obd0 zdyne gold ecu and a virgin p28 ECU as well as conversion harness and obd1 distributor. What do you think I should do? Use the OBD0 Zdyne gold ECU or should I convert the car to OBD1 and use the chipped P28?

The zdyne gold has built in launch control, has VTEC/NOS control, and is super simple to tune but a lot of people seem to think obd1 conversion is the way to go. What do YOU think?

I'm buying a D16a6 longblock (engine/trannny/ECU/sensors, etc) as a parts engine for my 91 supercharged CRX SI. Engine seems to be in pretty good condition and the owner says it ran before it was pulled but I'm not certain. Paying $350...what you think? Good deal?
