  • How does the President do a better job of representing voters than Congress?

For my Political Science essay, I need to argue against this statement: Congress does a better job of representing voters than the President because members of Congress are subject to more frequent elections and do not have term limits. Thus, the increasing power of the President in our political system has been a bad development for American democracy.

One of my points is that Congress can be very inefficient when there's a divided government because each house will have completely different viewpoints on issues.

  • Where should I go to college?

I found out that I got accepted into Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, and UCBerkeley. These are all excellent schools, and it's going to be very difficult for me to make a decision. I currently live in California and I know that UCBerkeley will be the cheapest school to attend. I want to study Biological/Ecological Sciences. My parents want me to go to Berkeley so that I can easily visit them during the holidays, but my older brother tells me that Ivy Leagues are better because they're private and they are much smaller. The thing that I don't like about Cornell is that the weather is horrible there, and I'm used to sunny-California weather. The University of Pennsylvania will give me a great undergrad experience, but I've heard negative comments about the area in Philadelphia where it is located. Berkeley is a small city and it gives you access to the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area, but the school is very overcrowded.

Where should I end up going to school? Berkeley, Cornell, or UPenn?

  • Any ideas for writing a short story?

I have to write an 800 word short story for my English class, but I don't have any ideas. The 800 word paper doesn't need to have a beginning or an end. I can make it seem as if they were pages ripped out from a bigger novel. Also, the paper needs to have some elements of magical realism. It doesn't have to be filled with magical realism, though.

What can I write about? It can be about practically anything, that's what makes it so hard.

    Thanks!

  • How do I solve this logarithmic equation?

    5^x+2=3^2x-1

    ln 5^x+2=ln 3^2x-1

    (x+2) ln 5=(2x-1) ln 3

    x ln 5+ 2 ln 5= 2x ln 3- ln 3

That's how far I got, but I don't know what steps to take next.

    Thank you!

I need help translating this simple French story.

Thanks you very much. I know that Petit Ours Brun means little brown bear.

  • What's a good horror romance novel?

For school I need to read a horror romance novel, but I don't know which one to read. I want a good novel that's not outrageously long and that is known as being a great novel. Any recommendations? Wuthering Heights would've been a good example, but I can't do that one because I already read it in class.
