  • Remedy for Hotel Rip Off?

I first book and then can celleda room at Hotel Motel Bonaparte in Quebec City, Quebec Canada. Hotel Motel Bonaparte's policy is to do free cancellations up to 48 hours of check in. I canceled the room at about 51 hours to check in, so within the 48 hour time period. They have refused to refund my money and have lied about their policy- they claim to keep a room open for you, even if you cancel and then charge you for it. Their 22 year old "manager" taunted me by email when I left a negative review online and they have been generally horrible to deal with. What can I do? There is no Better Business Bureau in Quebec and Hotel Motel Bonaparte need to be held responsible so that they can't rip off people in the future on their premium so-called free cancellation rooms.

  • What is the underlying reason that "The Office" mockumentary is being shot?

The premise of the show "The Office" is that a branch of a paper company is being filmed for a documentary, and that's what you watch when you watch the show. Do we ever find out why this branch is so special; in other words, why were they chosen to make the documentary?

I always wonder; what are your thoughts?

  • Co-worker keeps stealing soda from fridge.?

I keep a Diet Coke in the fridge at work for a little mid-day pick me up. For the past two weeks some thief has been getting to my bit of carbonated heaven first. How can I set up a soda can (I can't place a camera) to trap the thief? I thought about marking the lid with black ink, but other suggestions would be great.

All ideas are welcome! Please help me nab this person.

  • Harrison PA / Hershey PA night life?

I'm going to Hershey PA on Friday night (will arrive around 9PM, stay in a Harrisburg Hotel and go to Hershey Park the next morning). What are some cool evening things (bars, restaurants, lounges- age 21+ is not a problem) that I can do on Friday night? Please be specific and provide websites if you can; I've never been to Harrisburg before and probably will not get a chance to return so I'm looking for the most uniquely Harrisburg thing to do.

  • Items needed for home theater system?

What are the items, except for a tv, that are needed to have a functioning home theater system? Please list the item and whether they are necessary or not. I got a set of three speakers for Christmas (and nothing else, like a subwoofer, or anything like that), but what else do I need? Please be as specific and non techno-speak as possible.

    Thanks!

  • TV makes awful humming sound when paired with DVD. Please help!?

My parents have a large screen TV that stands on the wood floor. When the DVD player (which is connected to the VCR) is on the tv makes a horrible sound; it's like a buzzing or a loud hum sound. When the tv sound is turned off the hum goes way. When the digital cableis on this also sometimes happens but can be more easily controlled by turning down the TV volume and turning up the cable volume. What can I do to rectify this problem?

  • Most comfortable shoes?

I love Fly London for heels and Blowfish for flats...but I know that there must be other super comfortable, but beautiful shoes out there, right?

Ladies, what do you think is the most comfortable shoe brand?

Don't say slippers or flip flops, I mean dress, professional, business casual shoes.

Feel free to include links to websites.

  • Who drinks tea with milk?

Personally, I detest milk in tea, although sometimes I use lemon.

Which countries/nationalities use milk or cream in tea and which drink milk-less tea? Feel free to distinguish between black and green teas.

    Thanks!

  • Festive, easy, cheap, Mexican drink while eating tacos and watching Lost?

What's a festive (preferably Mexican, but tropical would be OK) drink that I can make for taco night this evening while I watch the season finale of Lost?

I thought of Mojitos and margaritas, but I want something else...and it has to be fairly easy/quick to make. Alcoholic or not- doesn't matter.

  • Song in last episode of Sex and the City?

In the last or second to last episode of Sex and the City what's the song that's played when Carrie finds her necklace at the bottom of her bag and runs out of Petrovsky's art show. The song keeps playing when Miranda finds Steve's mom wandering the streets and then bathes her.

What's the name of the song and artist?

    THANK YOU!

  • What's the song (and who sings it) in the Playstation Portable commercial?

    Lyrics:

All this pressure building up and there’s a chance it’s gonna explode.

And I can’t promise how where when but I can tell you it’ll happen for sure.

It’s a crazy world, it’s spinning fast, round and round and round we go.

Just keep your eyes on me now love, never stray, never let go.
