  • Will LeBron James catch up to Michael Jordan's 6 rings?

Jordan won his first title at age 28. LeBron has 2 at age 28. Granted, LeBron's been in the league longer at this point in both of their careers. My prediction is that he will because the style of play LeBron plays with is indicative of a long career. Over time, he may get slower, but he can impact a game in so many ways that he'll be able to adapt to his age. If he can't score as much, he can pass with the best PGs in the league. What do you guys think?

  • Honestly, is Boise State an elite college football program?

    With this schedule:

    Week 1: Georgia

    Week 2: *BYE WEEK*

Week 3: @ Toledo (Friday game)

    Week 4: Tulsa

    Week 5: Nevada

Week 6: @ Fresno State (Friday game)

    Week 7: @ Colorado State

    Week 8: Air Force

    Week 9: *BYE WEEK*

    Week 10: @ UNLV

    Week 11: TCU

Week 12: @ San Diego State

    Week 13: Wyoming

    Week 14: New Mexico

    ...scary (tries not to laugh).

  • Why do people compare Cam Newton strictly to black QBs?

Specifically, comparing him to JaMarcus Russell. I don't get it. His work-ethic is head and shoulders better. He's in shape. He came from a completely different offensive system in college. He's faster. Someone explain it to me. I know they were both chosen 1st overall, but Carolina isn't Oakland and Cam Newton has much better character. Russell was busted for codeine syrup and Cam doesn't even drink...

Why not compare him to Sam Bradford? Both from no-huddle spread offenses in college. Both won the Heisman. Both drafted 1st overall to a team without Al Davis running them. Size is a little different, but not by much.

  • What do you think about Auburn Assistant Coach Trooper Taylor "chest bumping" President Obama?

You probably didn't already know that this is one of Trooper's many trademark expressions. He constantly gets criticized for doing the things he does: wearing a hat backwards, waving a towel, and chest bumping.

  • Is it not true that the Miami Heat bandwagon fans are products of Lebron-haters?

I've never wanted someone to win a ring more than I wish LeBron would win one to shut a lot of you haters up. The guy did what all players want to do and rarely get the chance to. I'm so sick of hearing how Jordan would never do it, yet Jordan benefited greatly from Pippen leaving Portland and Rodman leaving Detroit. Not to mention the fact that Jordan was in Chicago! He was drafted to a big market team. LeBron had to endure through Cleveland for almost a decade...

  • Is Carnell "Cadillac" Williams still a relevant, productive player?

He's entering free agency (unless the lockout prevents otherwise) and Tampa Bay is reportedly interested in resigning him. What do you think? I believe he's very much still a productive player. My only concerns are his knees. However, he's come back from that before and can fill a Reggie Bush-like role on any team. His running isn't nearly as good, but his pass catching is excellent.

  • WWE's Drug Policy?

Why do so many people believe that WWE's drug policy is strictly about illegal drugs and steroids? WWE's drug policy is called the Wellness Policy for a reason. It covers ALL health issues that a wrestler may encounter. I'll use Jeff Hardy as an example. He has been suspended twice by WWE under the Wellness Policy. Most people look at this and see "drug user" because of his past issues with speed. So, the automatic thought is he was suspended for drug abuse. However, that is not the case. Shortly before his last suspension, he showed up at a signing with Matt, completely drunk. A week later, he's suspended. To me, that seems like he was suspended for alcohol abuse, not illegal drugs. How come so many believe it was from an illegal drug? When a wrestler is suspended, the exact details aren't released. Why do people jump the gun on this guy?

  • Who's the better athlete?

    Tiger Woods or The Rock?

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think it's easily The Rock. I've always been critical of people telling me that Tiger Woods maybe the greatest athlete today. WHAT!? First, I want to know what you think, then tell me if you think Tiger Woods is the greatest athlete today, if you actually call him an athlete. I don't.

  • Question about ECW...?

Despite the terrible ratings, who else agrees that ECW has the best overall show in the WWE? Their story lines are good and progress well. They have some of the best talent in the WWE. The one-hour time slot seems to help it out too. From a writing standpoint, who else agrees with me? I really, truly, honestly believe that ECW is the best show in WWE.

  • Fans of the SEC?

DO NOT EXIST! No one can be fans of an entire conference. I'm an Auburn fan and most Ohio St. or Michigan fans claim that those fans bringing up the fact that an SEC team has beaten Ohio State back-to-back in the National title game are "SEC fans." It's not that at all.The issue is the fact that it has been an SEC team beating a Big Ten team back-to-back in the National title game. It has nothing to do with liking the SEC team. Like I said, I am an Auburn fan. You can't say I like LSU or Florida too because it's not true. I've said this a million times: the SEC leads the Big Ten in head-to-head competition in football in every category EXCEPT the bowl game head-to-head. Which, the Big Ten leads by only a few games. The talk would be all the same had Ohio State lost to two Pac-10 teams in the same game. It doesn't mean that we're "conference fans." We're just criticizing Ohio State, to be perfectly honest. So, tell me: why do you believe we are "conference fans?"

  • Who else believes the Mavs are getting killed by the refs in this series?

Maybe not the series, but Game 4 was brutal for them. These refs aren't giving the Mavs anything, while conceding to the Hornets at the same time.

  • New rumor, but is the source accurate?

My daily wrestling news site is http://www.gerweck.net/ because it's by far the most credible site I've ever been to. So when I saw this posted in an article they posted, I had to think that it is possible. As crazy as it is, read and tell me your thoughts.

  • Like the idea?

Triple H is rumored to be facing Cena at Wrestlemania.....AGAIN! Undertaker is set to take on Edge as well. This tells us two things: 1. Triple H wins his Elimination Chamber and 2. Undertaker wins his, too. Is this too obvious? I understand the Undertaker storyline progressing, but would Vince really give us Triple H-Cena II? We all know how Vince loves to shake things up for the worse. Triple H wants to turn heel, but I don't think they can possibly let Cena stay face much longer. So, would Vince put Jeff Hardy over in the Chamber and have Cena turn heel on the way to Wrestlemania? Just curious as to your thoughts on Wrestlemania.

  • Another Super Bowl question.........NOT! Opinions?

This is not a super bowl question! It's ok, I know how surprising that is, but bare with me, lol.

My question is on college football and it's for the college football fans. Not the college football TEAM fans. I'm talking about the sport in general.

I'm an Auburn fan, so this is gonna be an Auburn question for all to answer. With the new spread offense coming in, how effective do you think Kodi Burns will be with so many weapons at running back? Is Tim Hawthorne gonna break out and make it that much more effective? With the new defensive coordinator and if Auburn's offense can put up some big numbers, do you think the defense can remain one of the top defenses in the country?

  • Cena = ratings?

Are you sure? I think some of you aren't paying attention to the actual ratings and just going on rumors. The WW was getting BETTER ratings....that's right, BETTER ratings......when Cena was gone. Smackdown is slowly improving and RAW has maintained its usual 3.5 rating per week. It proves that with or without Cena, WWE can still maintain. It simply is not true that Cena gets better ratings. A 0.1 increase is not significant enough to call him a ratings booster. Why do you think this is true, when it really isn't?

  • Cal - Stanford 1982?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aCDfJH6eRY

Watch it and tell me what you see. Did you see his knee touch the ground? lol....I know it happened in 1982, but his knee was down. No instant replay, I'm just curious as to whether or not you think his knee touched, lol. That and I'm bored, lol.

  • Now that the season is over.....your thoughts?

The college football season is over and it was a GOOD one. Filled with ups and downs for all conferences and teams, this season will truly be remembered for years to come. The BCS games were mediocre, but the rest of the games were exciting. A 2-loss team won the National Title and playoffs are still being talked about and wanted. Now that the season is over, we can start talking about next year.

My question: What are some teams that you all will be looking out for in 2008? Cite specific reasons why, please. Best answer gets best answer, obviously, lol.

  • Who agrees with me?

Not many WWE PPVs look as good as this upcoming Royal Rumble. Look at the card so far:

*Jeff Hardy Vs Randy Orton (WWE Championship)

    *30 Man Royal Rumble Match

*Edge Vs Rey Mysterio (World Heavyweight Championship)

    *JBL Vs Chris Jericho

Not bad, eh? Give me your opinions on this year's Royal Rumble. Predictions, thoughts, etc. Most intelligent answer wins, lol.
