I have a BSEE from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA and an MBA degree from San Diego State University, San Diego, CA. I am a writer. I did a quick study from the answers of this question in the past 3 years. In short, it is clean with detergent or put things away.
But I am in marketing and I generate a lot of information from market research and business card collection. They pile up. So I think it has something to do with processing the input. I am trying this four steps now.
1. At first it was MESS UP
2. Then I want to SHAPE UP
3. Now I start to CLEAN UP
4. After clean up, I will have some HICK UP sometimes.

Let us ask that again to see if all the innovation has improved the answer.
Do we have to clean up our room? Mostly our offices. This is important because even though I am good in doing business and managing projects, cleaning up seems to be a life long struggle for me.

I had a discussion with a CPA about this? He pointed out the while Madoff has committed a criminal act, the IRS is doing exactly the same. So IRS use money from other funds and pay social security. I am confused. Is he right?

We all deal with money. All the ads show the bank is very kind and nice. One time, I was busy and missed a payment. I was charged $29 late fee plus interest. Another time, my account (have more than one) was low. It was over drawn. My bank charged me $40 a day for that daily until I pay up. The friendly face disappear all of a sudden. "I got you!" they said to themselves.
Now I know my bank does not love me. Feel free to express your view. It is ok to even lecture me telling me I am not being responsible. I deserve it.

Did you see today's news? Government is cracking down on credit card company practice. They add a lot of fees to your invoice while you sleep or when you are not looking.
All with good reasons - late, admin fee, add fee to your late fee etc.
The fed said..stop.....
Do you think credit card companies are just exercising their right and the "public" should be wise to make their decision, read fine prints etc. (free will) or are the credit card companies being unethical?

Saw a T-shirt with prints saying "Life is tough and then you die", :)
No matter how rich, powerful, wonderful, bad a person is. This person is face death (according to the record today, no more than 200 years old).
Then what? (Answers from religious, non-religious, politician, philosophers, engineers are welcome!!!).
People can throw in all kinds of answers, jokes, whatever. But it is unavoidable. Many kings tried to extend their lives...to a point.
What is next? (I guess someone will say "game over"...that is it,.......is it????)

The company announced that they would remove the word Christmas from their promotion because they don't want to offend anyone. I like the word Christmas as it was used for over 2000 years. Because of that I would not buy from them this year. May be they should say...We remove the word Christmas to favor other customers and hope we make more money. Will be interested to see if they make more or less money. (Note: it seems to be stupid to say not to offend anyone when they are offending someone already)

More and more people are talking about spirituality and mention the term "higher power", what is that exactly? For Christians, God is the only omnipotent being. For other religion, this may be their god(s). But then there is the new age (or other modern thinking) mention I will be in touch with the higher power, is it a person, a concept or just fooling oneself?
