Most people believe that older men prefer younger women -I don't think that's true, because younger women don't know how to appreciate an older man - and usually it all comes down to money. MY QUESTION -Is this true?

The following headline was given world-wide attention today - "Iraqui athletes killed over sports attire" - The coach and two players were shot to death for wearing shorts - I would like to hear responses by Islamics either condemning or justifying this action; because, quite frankly, I find the act to be insane. It was a Sunni coach & 2 Shitte players. I also add the comment by a Sunni Cleric (Eid-al-Zuobayi):

"Islamic religion is an easy religion and it allows wearing sport shorts as long as they don't show the forbidden parts of the body, so the acts that are targeting the sport are criminal". Also, does this mean that all Islamic women not wearing veils should be murdered?
